Onun―Muhakeemet-ül-luğateyn‖ adlı eseri, bu bakımından büyük bir değer taşımaktadır.Bu eserinde Nevai, bir taraftan Türk dilinin Farsçaya üstünlüğünü ispata kalkışken, bir taraftan da kendi Türkçesinin fonetik ve morfolojik özelliklerini belirtmiştir.
