The results of analyzing BVRI CCD photometry of the spiral galaxies NGC 7339, NGC 7537, and NGC 7541 are presented using the observations acquired with the 1.88m Kottamia telescope (Egypt). The overall structure of the galaxies is analyzed together with isophotal contour maps. The surface brightness profiles of the galaxies are decomposed to bulge and disk components by fitting a de Vaucouleurs law for the bulge and an exponential law for the disk to obtain photometric parameters for each component. The corrected total and absolute magnitudes and integrated color are also obtained and found to be close to the published values. The radial profiles of ellipticity, major-axis position angle, and color are also obtained and discussed.

In this paper, preliminary test Shrinkage estimator have been considered for estimating the shape parameter α of pareto distribution when the scale parameter equal to the smallest loss and when a prior estimate α0 of α is available as initial value from the past experiences or from quaintance cases. The proposed estimator is shown to have a smaller mean squared error in a region around α0 when comparison with usual and existing estimators.

The present article delves into the examination of groundwater quality, based on WQI, for drinking purposes in Baghdad City. Further, for carrying out the investigation, the data was collected from the Ministry of Water Resources of Baghdad, which represents water samples drawn from 114 wells in Al-Karkh and Al-Rusafa sides of Baghdad city. So, there are a lot of researches that have investigated UNHCR reports, but no research has examined images in UNHCR reports of displaced Iraqis from a multimodal discourse perspective.
