The aesthetics of the design idea and its communicative role in the graphic achievement: انتصار رسمي موسى-دينا محمد عناد -سحر علي سرحان
...Show More Authors

The field of graphic design has witnessed a unique, unique form transformed in its construction and installation and superior to systems through its creation of foundational data for design ideas with functional aesthetics and utilitarianism and effective and moving formulation in light of modern trends and what globalization has brought about in terms of openness to the outside world and the processes of communication and communication with the international community through graphic design. Based on the above, this study marked (Aesthetics of the Design Idea and its Communication Role in the Graphic Outcome) comes to clarify the topic through three chapters, including the first chapter, which was devoted to the research methodology, the research problem and the need for it, which were identified by the following question (What are the aesthetics of the design idea and what is its communicative role in Graphic creator)?

The aim of the study was (to identify the aesthetics of the design idea and its communicative role in the graphic achievement) and included the importance of research and the limits of research as well as defining terms.

The most important findings of the research are:

1- The concepts of aesthetic are relative and differ from person to person and from one situation to another.

2- The aesthetic in graphic design is an objective phenomenon, not moody or subjective as in the plastic art, and this appeared in all studied samples.

3- The aesthetic value of the thing is related to its functional and utilitarian value, especially in design, the aesthetic stems from its functional and utilitarian value and then comes other material values and this appeared in all samples

4- The selected samples have provided unlimited global communication messages by employing visual messages that carry deep meanings and implications for the international community in their different languages, needs and ideas, so it was a universal language.

5- The aesthetic value in designing logos stems from its moral, heritage and human value.

6- The design ideas in the design of logos were distinguished by their clarity and simplicity of the idea, as they moved away from the complexity in proposing the design idea and this appeared in the all samples.

Nonlinear Buckling Analysis of Steel Cylindrical Shell with Elliptical Cut-out Subjected to Longitudinal Compressive Load
...Show More Authors

The current paper investigates the effect of cut-out design parameters on load-bearing capacity and buckling behaviour of steel cylindrical shell using a nonlinear finite element analysis in modelling cylinder buckling under longitudinal compressive load. The effect of four geometry design parameters: shell diameter to thickness ratio, cut-out location, orientation, and size were investigated in this study. To enhance the prediction of buckling behaviour, both geometrical and material nonlinearities were considered. An ANSYS APDL code was written and tested by verifying its validity through comparison with former buckling study. The results showed that changing the cut-out location from mid-height of the cylindrical shell towards a

Adsorptive Desulfurization of Iraqi Heavy Naphtha Using Different Metals over Nano Y Zeolite on Carbon Nanotube
...Show More Authors

The present research was conducted to reduce the sulfur content of Iraqi heavy naphtha by adsorption using different metals oxides over Y-Zeolite. The Y-Zeolite was synthesized by a sol-gel technique. The average size of zeolite was 92.39 nm, surface area 558 m2/g, and pore volume 0.231 cm3/g. The metals of nickel, zinc, and copper were dispersed by an impregnation method to prepare Ni/HY, Zn/HY, Cu/HY, and Ni + Zn /HY catalysts for desulfurization. The adsorptive desulfurization was carried out in a batch mode at different operating conditions such as mixing time (10,15,30,60, and 600 min) and catalyst dosage (0.2,0.4,0.6,0.8,1, and 1.2 g). The most of the sulfur compounds were removed at 10 min for all catalyst ty

ESTIMATION OF SHEAR WAVE VELOCITY FROM WIRELINE LOGS DATA FOR AMARA OILFIELD, MISHRIF FORMATION, SOUTHERN IRAQ
...Show More Authors

Shear wave velocity is an important feature in the seismic exploration that could be utilized in reservoir development strategy and characterization. Its vital applications in petrophysics, seismic, and geomechanics to predict rock elastic and inelastic properties are essential elements of good stability and fracturing orientation, identification of matrix mineral and gas-bearing formations. However, the shear wave velocity that is usually obtained from core analysis which is an expensive and time-consuming process and dipole sonic imager tool is not commonly available in all wells. In this study, a statistical method is presented to predict shear wave velocity from wireline log data. The model concentrated to predict shear wave velocity fr

Effects of Phenolic Plant Extracts on Biofilm Formation by Klebsiella pneumoniae Isolated from Urinary Tract Infections
...Show More Authors

Ten isolates of Klebsiella pneumoniae, seven isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa and nine isolates of Staphylococcus aureus, were obtained from 100 urine samples collected from Baghdad hospitals. All isolates were identified biochemically and confirmed by using VITEK 2 and were then tested for their susceptibility towards 6 antibiotics and for phenolic extracts of Thymus vulgaris and Cinnamomum cassia. All bacteria were greatly affected by T. vulgaris, especially K. pneumoniae. Viable count was performed, it was noted that the number of bacterial cells reduced from 1×108 CFU to 1.2× 103, 2×105 and 1.8×106CFU of K. pneumoniae, P. aeruginosa and S. aureus respectively. While C. cassiahad a slight effect on them. K. pneumoniae isola

Pre-column dervatization of amino acids from nigella sativa L seed hydrolysates by reversed phase HPLC
...Show More Authors

A rapid and sensitive method for analysis of amino acid hydrolysates of nigella sativa L seed has been developed using O-phthaldialehyde(OPA ) as a pre-column derivatizing agent. OPA reagents in the presence of mercaptoethanol react rapidly with primary amino acids ( less than 60 sec.) to form isindole derivatives which easily separated with good selectivity on ODS column. Resolution of amino acid derivatives is carried out with a methanol gradient in 0.01 maqueous sodium acetate. pH 7.1 . The quantitation of amino acid derivatives is reproducible within an average relative deviation of + 1.4% the linearity for most amino acids were more than 0.9993 with detection limit of 0.2 ppm. 15 amino acid were detected in the analysis of

Generation of Truly Random QPSK Signal Waveforms for Quantum Key Distribution Systems Based on Phase Coding
...Show More Authors

In this work a model of a source generating truly random quadrature phase shift keying (QPSK) signal constellation required for quantum key distribution (QKD) system based on BB84 protocol using phase coding is implemented by using the software package OPTISYSTEM9. The randomness of the sequence generated is achieved by building an optical setup based on a weak laser source, beam splitters and single-photon avalanche photodiodes operating in Geiger mode. The random string obtained from the optical setup is used to generate the quadrature phase shift keying signal constellation required for phase coding in quantum key distribution system based on BB84 protocol with a bit rate of 2GHz/s.
