Aesthetics of Color Rhythm in the Guiding Poster: خليف محمود خليف -معتز عناد غزوان
...Show More Authors

The idea of rhythm is basically associated with movement, as it is a regular frequency of movement combining between unity and change. Rhythm can be defined as a repetition of a certain element. Rhythm has a major role in the guiding poster which we are today in dire need for in light of escalation of coronavirus pandemic and its dire repercussions on entire international community, as the current research highlights the aesthetics of color rhythm in the guiding poster to confront coronavirus pandemic.

The spread of this invisible unknown horror preoccupied the world in different fields of scientific and human knowledge to the extent that man today has started looking for effective medical solutions to put an end to this pandemic on the one hand and looking for preventive methods for this disease on the other hand. Actually, the case has not been easy to deal with these two things. The preventive response has been one of the most prominent challenges to confront this fatal disease. Thus, that matter necessitated for the designer to confront the advance of this disease through the strength of the guiding design especially the poster

Synthesis and characterization of (Fe2O3)1-x(MgO)x thin film composites for NH3 gas sensors
...Show More Authors

This research is presenting a study of optical and structural properties of (Fe2O3)1-x(MgO)x composites synthesized as thin film that can be used as a gas sensor. Pulsed laser deposition technique was used to prepare thin films of (Fe2O3)1-x(MgO)x. The pattern of X-ray diffraction of the composites powder showed the consistency of iron oxide (α-Fe2O3) hematite phase along with the planes (104) and (110) as preferred planes for crystal growth where the intensities of which varied with MgO content. The crystal size of the thin film material was varied in between (26.8-35.1) nm. The diffraction pattern of the pulsed laser deposited thin films was absent from any diffraction peaks. The maximum transparency obtained of hematite

Optimum Proportions and Properties of Foamed Concrete Made with Waste Plastic as Fine and Coarse Aggregate
...Show More Authors

This research aimed to explore the use of foamed concrete (FC), a lightweight concrete, by replacing sand with crushed plastic from washing machines to improve environmental and thermal properties. The primary components included traditional materials like cement, water, and a foaming agent, along with the innovative use of waste plastic (WP). Utilizing Minitab software, the study applied the Response Surface Method to optimize mix designs, reducing the experimental mixtures to 31, which were then tested for dry density, porosity, water absorption, shrinkage, compressive strength, splitting tensile strength, and thermal conductivity. Results indicated a significant 24% reduction in dry density when using plastic as fine and coarse aggregate

Behavior of axially loaded concrete composite columns encased with <scp>GFRP</scp> and steel I‐sections
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>The aim of this investigation is to evaluate the experimental and numerical effectiveness of a new kind of composite column by using Glass Fiber‐Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) I‐section as well as steel I‐section in comparison to the typical reinforced concrete one. The experimental part included testing six composite columns categorized into two groups according to the slenderness ratio and tested under concentric axial load. Each group contains three specimens with the same dimensions and length, while different cross‐section configurations were used. Columns with reinforced concrete cross‐section (reference column), encased GFRP I‐section, and encased steel I‐section were adopted in each </p> ... Show More

Green biosynthesized silver nanoparticles using aqueous extract of Salix alba: antimicrobial and cytogenetic effects on mitosis
...Show More Authors

Background Green synthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) using plant extracts has gained increasing attention as an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional chemical methods. Salix alba L contains bioactive phytochemicals that can act as reducing and stabilizing agents during nanoparticle synthesis. This study aimed to synthesize AgNPs using an aqueous bark extract of S. alba and to evaluate their antimicrobial and cytogenetic effects. Methods Silver nanoparticles were synthesized by mixing S. alba aqueous e

Adsorptive Desulfurization of Iraqi Heavy Naphtha Using Different Metals over Nano Y Zeolite on Carbon Nanotube
...Show More Authors

The present research was conducted to reduce the sulfur content of Iraqi heavy naphtha by adsorption using different metals oxides over Y-Zeolite. The Y-Zeolite was synthesized by a sol-gel technique. The average size of zeolite was 92.39 nm, surface area 558 m2/g, and pore volume 0.231 cm3/g. The metals of nickel, zinc, and copper were dispersed by an impregnation method to prepare Ni/HY, Zn/HY, Cu/HY, and Ni + Zn /HY catalysts for desulfurization. The adsorptive desulfurization was carried out in a batch mode at different operating conditions such as mixing time (10,15,30,60, and 600 min) and catalyst dosage (0.2,0.4,0.6,0.8,1, and 1.2 g). The most of the sulfur compounds were removed at 10 min for all catalyst types. The maximum

Automated empowerment and its effectiveness to developing skill performance for dribbling and passing accuracy of football
...Show More Authors

Among the many modern skill-enhancing work practices, machine learning is among the mostskill-enhancing practices in the workplace, as it helps students remember more of what they havelearned, hone the technical talents and skills of football players, and make better use of theirmotor skills. The use of machine learning and its practical applications in football could havesignificant benefits by improving talent development and making better use of scientifictechniques. The primary objective of this study was to determine the effectiveness of machinelearning in improving soccer dribbling and passing accuracy in children aged 10-12 years. Thestudy authors hypothesized that soccer players in the Al-Zohour Neighborhood Youth Forumwould greatly

Moisture Susceptibility of Hot Mix Asphalt Mixtures Modified by Nano Silica and Subjected to Aging Process
...Show More Authors

Moisture damage is described as a reduction in stiffness and strength durability in asphalt mixtures due to moisture. This study investigated the influence of adding nano silica (NS) to the Asphalt on the moisture susceptibility of hot-mix-asphalt (HMA) mixtures under different aging conditions. NS was mixed with asphalt binder at concentrations of 2%, 4%, and 6% by weight of the binder. To detect the microstructure changes of modified Asphalt and estimate the dispersion of NS within the Asphalt, the field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM) was used. To examine the performance of Asphalt mixed with NS at different aging stages (short-term and long-term aging), asphalt mixture tests such as Marshall stability,
