Technology manufacturing Ghazi oven and sessile cost of production of ceramic
...Show More Authors

The ceramic work of the business that was stationed with the history of its evolution of man on earth, and this gives him a linking formula and the reality of life, including asking as inherited civilized . Operation creativity over several stages and developments have helped in the formation of human hands, including a reflection on productions are large and diverse.

To search for new horizons in ceramic art began to form new technologies outside the traditional frameworks ,devoted technical and scientific expertise and access to an advanced stage in porcelain from technical and aesthetic point of view the field, shall be deemed to contemporary ceramic civilized idea of Modernism from the ceramic work can in no way be independently from the effects of the current environment and circumstances. Iraqi pottery devoted material saved by the researchers a starting point of need based on the times of the establishment of Ceramic Art at less cost and easier techniques and advantageous material, and get to know the merits in the field of furnaces in Iraq and the formation of a technical subject to its effect on various factors led to the accomplished according to certain vision, it can be comes the question of the research problem the following: Is possible to manufacture furnace for the production of ceramic works and the cost of gas and low-lying?

Current search included four chapters included chapter (research problem - the importance of research and the need to – research object : is the detection techniques in the manufacture of ceramic gas ovens and low cost - the limits of research - to identify and define the terminology.
The search included the second chapter (theoretical framework), which included (historical introduction about the history of furnaces - furnace types - burn.

The third chapter included the research methodology (experimental method). The fourth chapter has been included on the findings and recommendations, and then the list of sources.

Sintering Additives Effects on the Microstructure and Electrical Behavior of Yttrium Oxide Ceramic Composites
...Show More Authors

Ceramics type Yttrium oxide with Silicon carbide. were selected to investigate its sintered density, microstructure and electrical properties, after adding V2O5, of 100 nm grain size. Different weight percentages ranging from (0.01,0.02,0.03 and 0.04) were used. Dry milling applied for twelve hours. The pelletized samples were sintered at atmospheric of static air and at sintering temperature 1400 ˚C, for three hours. The crustal structure test shoes the phase which is yttrium silicon carbide Scanning electron microscopy, scan sintered microstructure. Samples after sintering were electrically investigated by measuring its capacitance, dielectric constant and their results showed increasing after added V2O5 particles at the combinat

Manufacturing Perforated and Ordinary Bricks Using Injana Claystone Exposed in The Middle of Iraq
...Show More Authors

This study aims to use claystone beds exposed in the Injana Formation (Late Miocene) at Karbala-Najaf plateau, middle of Iraq for the manufacturing of perforated and ordinary bricks. The claystone samples were assessed as an alternative material of the recent sediments, which are preferred to remain as agricultural land. The claystones are sandy mud composing of 29.1 - 39.1% clay, 37.2 - 54.8% silt and 14.1-26.8% sand. They consist of kaolinite, illite, chlorite, palygorskite, and montmorillonite with a lot of quartz, calcite, dolomite, gypsum and feldspar. Claystone samples were characterized by linear shrinkage 0.01 - 0.1%, volume shrinkage 0.1 - 0.9%, bulk density 1.2 - 2.11gm/cm3 (1.68 g / cm3 average), and the efflorescence is

Improving the Moisture Damage Resistance of HMA by Using Ceramic Fiber and Hydrated Lime
...Show More Authors

The Moisture damage is considered as one of the main challenge for the experts in the field of asphalt pavement design. The aims of the present study is to modify moisture resistance of the asphalt concrete by utilizing ceramic fibers as a type of reinforcement incorporated with hydrated lime. For this purpose, a penetration grade of the asphalt cement (40-50) was utilized as a binder with an aggregate of the maximum nominal size of 12.5mm and mineral filler limestone dust. A series of specimens has been fabricated by utilizing 0.50, 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 percentages of ceramic fibers. For each of these contents, another subsequent group of specimens with hydrated lime with 0.0, 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 percentages were moulded. For the additi

Evaluation of Low Level Laser Therapy using 785 nm Diode Laser on the Enhancement of Chronic Wound Healing
...Show More Authors

Low-intensity laser irradiation has been explored as an alternative, non-invasive method to encourage chronic wounds to heal. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of low level laser therapy (biostimulation) using semiconductor diode laser with wavelength (785 nm) on the enhancement of chronic wound healing. Fifty patients with chronic wounds were selected to be treated with Low Level Laser Therapy. Their ages ranged between 1 to 76 years. The wound sites were distributed in the lower limb, upper limb, trunk , perineum and head (70%,14%,12%,2%,2%, respectively). Application of laser therapy by noncontact method few millimeters from the skin for 15 minutes per one session twice weekly for two months ; ie,16 sessions for each patient. R

Manufacturing and Testing a Double Action Feed Pellet Durability Measuring Device
...Show More Authors
Abstract
The experiment was aimed to evaluate a locally manufactured a dual-action device used for measuring feed pellets durability. The device performs dropping process in conventional devices, then sifting process to separate the pellets from the crumbles simultaneously, with a control the motor speed by using the pulse width modulation (PWM) Technique. The device performance was compared with the durability measuring device of a moving drop box. Rotational speed, diameter of the die holes of the machine was used in this study. The results showed that increasing the rotational speed of the die from 280 to 300 and to 320 rpm, increasing the die holes diameter from 3 to 4 and to 5 mm, led to
... Show More

The Sgrafitto’s technique and its impacts on the contemporary ceramic art
...Show More Authors

The current study deals with one of the ancient and modern techniques of ceramic art, which has evolved dramatically. This technique is interested in the muddy Body and its coloring, rather than interesting in the coloring of the layer on the surface of the glass port on the ceramic object. It is classified as ceramic techniques of the single heartburn, where use many coloring oxides. As well as, the use of (Pigment), which is often made of metal compounds, or metal oxides such as iron and manganese, copper and cobalt and more others.
The first chapter includes the problem, the importance, the goal, and the boundaries of the study. In addition, focuses on determining the terms such as (Sgrafitto). The second chapter consists of two to
