In light of the intellectual and technological progress within the current developments of time, as well as the emergence of digital tools and means of display and communication, which had a major role in the shifts of the time of globalization in various commercial and economic fields, as well as areas of transferring the design image and its stages of development to customers and the convergence of views between the customer and the interior designer, which are the most important pillars of the design process As a whole, and accordingly, there is an urgent need for a process of intellectual balance between them through digital tools from the technical side and through social media from the intellectual side. Customer comments via social media, which facilitates the process of generating feedback for designers. The problem is embodied in the following question: "How can digital modeling tools and social media be employed in the field of interior design to obtain a contemporary design process?" And then its objectives, limits, and definition of its terminology, as the research sample was represented by the engineering offices registered with the Iraqi Engineers Association, and after reviewing previous studies and building the theoretical framework, the research dealt with two axes, the first (the concept of the design process and its variables’ connection with the variables of the era and technology), and the second (the role of the customers’ position in the process After building the theoretical framework and reaching a set of indicators, a questionnaire was built to be analyzed in the light of it, and after ensuring the validity and reliability of the tool, a random sample was selected from the number of answers obtained from the research community, and the statistical analysis method was used For the questionnaire, a set of statistical results were reached in order to influence a set of conclusions that can be generalized to the research community, and then a set of recommendations and research proposals.
Nanofluids, liquid suspensions of nanoparticles (NPs) dispersed in deionized (DI) water, brine, or surfactant micelles, have become a promising solution for many industrial applications including enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and carbon geostorage. At ambient conditions, nanoparticles can effectively alter the wettability of the strongly oil-wet rocks to water-wet. However, the reservoir conditions present the greatest challenge for the success of this application at the field scale. In this work, the performance of anionic surfactant-silica nanoparticle formulation on wettability alteration of oil-wet carbonate surface at reservoir conditions was investigated. A high-pressure temperature vessel was used to apply nano-modification of oil-wet

Moreover, this is an environmentally friendly option as it reduces the demand for virgin materials. It has to be remarked that in Iraq RAP is not used in the production of HMA and this valuable material is mostly degraded for use in lower value applications. Four mixtures were designed, which contains three different percent RAP, it is (0%, 5%, 15%) with asphalt grade (40-50) and (25%) with asphalt grade (60-70), it has been changed the grade of asphalt when adding RAP (25%) to compensate for the aged binder in the RAP when adding to mixture. Show MoreRemoval of heavy metal ions such as, cadmium ion (Cd 2+) and lead ion (Pb 2+) from aqueous solution onto Eichhornia (water hyacinth) activated carbon (EAC) by physiochemical activation with potassium hydroxide (KOH) and carbon dioxide (CO2) as the activating agents were investigated. The Eichhornia activated carbon was characterized by Brunauer Emmett Teller (BET), Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) techniques. Whereas, the effect of adsorbent dosage, contact time of pH, and metal ion concentration on the adsorption process have been investigated using the batch process t
Allopurinol derivative were prepared by reacting the (1-chloroacetyl)-2-Hydropyrazolo{3,4-d}pyrimidine-4-oneiwith 5- methoxy- 2-aminoibenzothiazoleiunder certain conditions to obtain new compound ( N- (2-aminoacetyl (5-methoxy) benzothiazole -2yl) (A4), Reaction of 5-(P-dimethyl amine benzene)-2-amino-1,3,4- oxadiazole in the presence of potassium carbonate anhydrous to yield new compound (N-(2- aminoacetyl-5-(P-dimethyl amine benzene )-1,3,4-oxadiazoles-2-yl)(A30) and Azo compound (N-(5-(Azo-2-hydroxy-5-amino benzene)-1,3-Diazol-2yl)Allopurinol(A46). The structure of prepared compounds were confirmed by (FT-IR) technique and their physical properties. The synthesized compounds were tested for cytotoxicity, Xanthine oxidase inhibiti

For this purpose, we employed several evaluations like (0D-1D) nucleus independent chemical shift (NICS), multidimensional (2D-3D) off-nucleus isotropic shielding σiso(r), and natural bond orbital (NBO) analysis. The magnetic calculations involved gauge-including atomic orbitals (GIAO) with two density functionals B3LYP and WB97XD, and basis sets of Jorge-ATZP, 6-311+G(d,p), and Lanl2DZp. The Jorge-ATZP basis set showed the best consistency. Our findings disclosed non-classical aromatic characters in the above molecules, which decreased from N to Bi cages. Also, the results showed more aromaticity in E4 than E4H+
... Show MoreStatic Synchronous Series Compensator (SSSC) is a well known device for effectively regulating the active power flow in a power system. In this paper, the SSSC linearized power flow equations are incorporated into Newton-Raphson algorithm in a MATLAB written program to investigate the control of active poweer flow and the transient stability of a five bus and a thirty bus IEEE test systems, during abnormal conduction (three phase fault near buses). A comparison of the results obtained for the base case without SSSC and with it to investigate the effectiveness of the device on both of the active power flow and the transient stability.
