The Role of Context in Graphic Design
...Show More Authors

The need for an intellectual understanding of the context from many aspects' dictates understanding the ways through which the graphic designer walks in simulating the intent of the design process and elevating it to levels of communicative perception that leads to communicating the idea to the recipient, and it is thus a need closely related to the context, if it is historical. Culturally or socially, and between the mechanisms of selecting and operating the elements and units of the graphic and design achievement. On this basis, the role of context in graphic design can be studied.

The research included four chapters, the first chapter of the research problem and the need for it, and the aim of the research was (discovering the role of context in graphic design), and then the importance of the research. As for the second chapter, it included the theoretical framework, and it may consist of two chapters, the first is (the concept of context and its types), and the second chapter is (context in design), and then the third chapter (research procedures), as the researchers adopted the descriptive approach as a way to analyze the content, based on what emerged The theoretical framework of the indicators, and then the research sample was intentionally chosen, for models of global slogans, to achieve the goal of the research, and then the research came out with results and conclusions, including:

1- Following the historical context in designing logos resulted in belonging to the inherited ideas of each time period and embodying them within their temporal transformations, and this appeared in the two models.
2- Employing shorthand treatment, specifically in the first model, led to achieving ease of reception.

A Comparison between Ericson's Formulae Results and Experimental Data Using New Formulae of Single Particle Level Density
...Show More Authors

The partial level density PLD of pre-equilibrium reactions that are described by Ericson’s formula has been studied using different formulae of single particle level density . The parameter  was used from the equidistant spacing model (ESM) model and the non- equidistant spacing model (non-ESM) and another formula of  are derived from the relation between  and level density parameter . The formulae used to derive  are the Roher formula, Egidy formula, Yukawa formula, and Thomas –Fermi formula. The partial level density results that depend on  from the Thomas-Fermi formula show a good agreement with the experimental data.

Evaluation of High-Performance Polyether Ether Ketone Polymer Treated with Piranha Solution and Epigallocatechin-3-Gallate Coating
...Show More Authors

Background. Dental implantation has become a standard procedure with high success rates, relying on achieving osseointegration between the implant surface and surrounding bone tissue. Polyether ether ketone (PEEK) is a promising alternative to traditional dental implant materials like titanium, but its osseointegration capabilities are limited due to its hydrophobic nature and reduced surface roughness. Objective. The aim of the study is to increase the surface roughness and hydrophilicity of PEEK by treating the surface with piranha solution and then coating the surface with epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) by electrospraying technique. Materials and Methods. The study includes four groups intended to investigate the effect of pir

Reliability Analysis of Multibit Error Correcting Coding and Comparison to Hamming Product Code for On-Chip Interconnect
...Show More Authors

Error control schemes became a necessity in network-on-chip (NoC) to improve reliability as the on-chip interconnect errors increase with the continuous shrinking of geometry. Accordingly, many researchers are trying to present multi-bit error correction coding schemes that perform a high error correction capability with the simplest design possible to minimize area and power consumption. A recent work, Multi-bit Error Correcting Coding with Reduced Link Bandwidth (MECCRLB), showed a huge reduction in area and power consumption compared to a well-known scheme, namely, Hamming product code (HPC) with Type-II HARQ. Moreover, the authors showed that the proposed scheme can correct 11 random errors which is considered a high
