أن الفن الإسلامي المبكر تضمن أمثلة عديدة لرسوم جداريه آدمية وحيوانية ونباتية وهندسية بشكل متفرد ومتميز، وجد في القصور القديمة ، و بوجه عام في العصور المبكرة ، على الرغم من موقف الدين الإسلامي من الرسوم .
اذ ان موقفه من تصوير الكائنات الحية ايجابيا على الرغم من محاولات بعض المختصين وعلى رأسهم الأب لاما نس Henri Lammens وماسينون Louis Massignon وكرسويل K.A.C Creswell أن يبرهنوا على أن الدين الإسلامي لم يعترض على التصوير وصناعة التماثيل حيث لم ترد إشارة إلى هذه الكراهية أو المنع في القرآن الكريم. غير أن هناك عدد ليس بالقليل من الأحاديث النبوية يفهم منها ذلكوأن السبب في ذلك يعود بشكل أساس إلى الخوف من عودة الناس في شبه الجزيرة العربية إلى عبادة الأوثان والأصنام اذ ان غالبيتها العظمى كانت على شكل تماثيل منحوتة من حجر أو خشب أو غير ذلك. (م9 )لابد من القول بأن هذه الكراهية قد أثرت بشكل غير مباشر في فن النحت والرسم عموما، لارتباطهما الوثيق بالوثنية ونحن نعلم أن هناك شيئا قريبا من مثل هذه الكراهية عند بعض أصحاب الديانات السماوية الأخرى.ولا أريد في هذا البحث أن اتطرق إلى هذا الموضوع الشائك ويكفي القول بأنه حتى لو إن ما روي عن النبي محمد ( ص ) بهذا الخصوص كانت أحاديث منقولة فان موقف غالبية الفقهاء المسلمين من تصوير الكائنات الحية كان بشكل عام عدائيا في جميع أنحاء العالم الإسلامي ، وذلك حتى مطلع القرن العشرين في الأقل .على ذلك لابد أن يكون لمثل هذا التوجه الديني أثره السلبي الواضح في مسيرة فن الرسم في ظل الإسلام. ومن ذلك مثلا إن التصوير لم يحظ بأي رعاية وحماية من قبل رجال الدين المسلمين بما في ذلك الخلفاء الذين كانوا يمثلون السلطة الدينية العليا في البلاد حسب ، بل أن المجتمع ككل لم ينظر إليهم نظرة أعجاب واحترام كما كان من نصيب الخطاطين والمذهبين والناقشين . والذي أدى بالتالي إلى تدني الإقبال على امتهان مهنة التصوير عموما بين المسلمين وخاصة العرب منهم لذا نرى أن عدد الفنانين ، ممن أصر على ممارسة فن رسم الكائنات الحية بين المسلمين ، كان ضئيلا جدا، قياسا إلى بقية الفنانين. وفي هذا خلاف واضح للرعاية والحماية التي حظي فيها فن الرسم في ظل الدولة البيزنطية المعاصرة والمجاورة حيث أستخدم على نطاق واسع في خدمة الديانة المسيحية.وأن كان هذا لا يعني أنه في ظل الدولة البيزنطية قد اتخذ المسار الصحيح في التطور نحو الأفضل ، ويعزى السبب في ذلك الى أن رجال الدين هيمنوا هنا بشكل كامل تقريبا على الفنانين البارزين وسخروهم لخدمة الكنيسة أي في تصوير ليس فقط الموضوعات الدينية، وبل ما كان يمليها عليهم رجال الدين وبأسلوب واحد تقريبا حتى صار الكثير من الفنانين رهبانا ، كما علم الكثير من الرهبان أنفسهم أصول الرسم. ولم يستطع فن الرسم من التحرر، من قبضة رجال الدين في أوروبا إلا مع بداية عصر النهضة.لقد كان لموقف الفقهاء المسلمين من التصوير أثر سلبي في مسيرة أو تطور فن الرسم في ظل الإسلام. ومن ذلك مثلا ظلت رسوم الكائنات الحية بعيدة تماما عن المساجد والمدارس الدينية وغير ذلك.كما أنه لم يواكب إطلاقا التطور المستمر نحو الأفضل الذي كان من نصيب بقية الفنون التشكيلية وبخاصة فن الزخرفة والفنون التطبيقية عموما Decorative Art ومن النتائج التي ترتبت على هذا الموقف السلبي أنه لم يظهر بين الفنانين المسلمين من مارس فن رسم اللوحات المستقلة أو حتى الرسم على الجدران Fresco بشكل صحيح إلا متأخرا جدا،والرسوم هنا على العموم قليلة نادرة.إن النماذج الرائعة التي وصلت الينا من الرسوم الجدارية تستحق الدراسة والتحليل،فبرغم الكثير من الصعوبات التي واجهت الفنان المسلم، فانه استطاع إن يتمرد أحيانا،وان يماشي الأجواء المحيطة فيه ، كي يرسم ما يراه حسب قناعاته الشخصية وإشباعا لرغباته،وحسب الانفتاح على الثقافات الأخرى التي كان لها الدور الكبير في جعله يتأثر ويبدع،ويخرج من حالة الحصار الديني التي فرضت عليه، كما إن حبه للجمال خلف لنا روائع من الرسوم الجدارية. من هذا المنطلق تأتي أهمية إجراء البحث الحالي لإعطاء رؤية تحليلية جديدة للرسوم الجدارية،لقصير عمرة الأموي، الذي جاء بحقبة زمنية امتازت بقدرة الفنانين على تشكيل الرسوم الجدارية بأسلوب مميز جمع بين وحدات مختلفة من الرسوم الآدمية والحيوانية والزخارف النباتية والهندسية والكتابية. لقد تناول البحث الحالي قصير عمرة الأموي لما فيه من كم هائل من الرسوم الجدارية التي تحتاج إلى البحث والتحليل للوصول إلى رؤية جديدة.أما أهداف البحث فتتركز بـــ :إلقاء الضوء على الرسوم الجدارية في القصور القديمة بوجه عام. والرسوم الجدارية لقصر عميرة.رؤية تحليلية كرافيكية لطبيعتها وكيفية توزيعها لاشغال الفراغات الجدارية بأسلوب جمالي متفرد. الباحثة هنا تتناول البحث في ثلاثة محاور هي:المحور الأول : الرسوم الجدارية تاريخيا المحور الثاني : الرسوم الجدارية تحليليا. المحور الثالث :رؤية تحليلية للرسوم الجدارية في قصير عمرة

The games featured approximately 3000 athletes from 54 countries who competed in 27 sports. Five sports were qualified for the Youth Olympic Games in Argentina.
