This study focuses on the phenomenon of child labour, which is regarded as a problem not only in Iraq or in developing countries but also in many other countries around the world .In fact, this problem is ignored and not given enough attention for there are millions of children working and doing different works in economically poor societies. Those children often work for long hours and are being exploited, doing works incompatible with their abilities and energy, preventing them from enjoying their childhood, developing both mentally and physically and joining school. The research introduced some suggestions aiming at preventing children from all forms of harmful and unhealthy works are presented. In fact, this is the very aim that most governments try to achieve in order to prevent children from doing such works and to provide some serious alternatives as not to return to such works again.
Melanoidins can be diagnosed using the Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) technique. UV/Vis is an effective tool for both qualitative and quantitative analysis of chemical components in melanoidin polymers. The structural and vibrational features of melanoidin synthesized from D-glucose and D-fructose are identical, according to FTIR spectra, with the only difference being the intensity of bands. Using FTIR spectra, the skeleton of melanoidin is divided into seven major regions. Nineteenth century Gothic literature was deeply concerned with the threats against masculinity. Perhaps one of the most important changes that happened at that time was the emergence of the New Woman model which posed a great threat against masculinity and the male role in the Victorian society. Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1897) portrays female characters who embody this transition in female roles from the domestic wife to the New Woman. This paper focuses on the female characters Mina Murray and Lucy Westenra, their roles in their society, and the different fates they face at the end of the novel, with special focus on Mina’s transformation to the model of the New Woman.
The aim of this paper is to present a weak form of -light functions by using -open set which is -light function, and to offer new concepts of disconnected spaces and totally disconnected spaces.
