This study focuses on the phenomenon of child labour, which is regarded as a problem not only in Iraq or in developing countries but also in many other countries around the world .In fact, this problem is ignored and not given enough attention for there are millions of children working and doing different works in economically poor societies. Those children often work for long hours and are being exploited, doing works incompatible with their abilities and energy, preventing them from enjoying their childhood, developing both mentally and physically and joining school. The research introduced some suggestions aiming at preventing children from all forms of harmful and unhealthy works are presented. In fact, this is the very aim that most governments try to achieve in order to prevent children from doing such works and to provide some serious alternatives as not to return to such works again.
This study aims to focus on the Motives behind volunteer work among a sample of volunteers working in civil society organizations and check if there are statistical differences with those variables according to (gender, age, job, period of volunteer work, and residence. Show MoreIn this study, a review of variety of processes that are used in the treatment produced water prior to reuse or to responsible disposal are presented with their environmental issues and economical benefits. Samples of produced water from five locations in Rumaila oilfield/in south of Iraq were taken and analyzed for their contents of brine, some heavy metals, total suspended solids and oil and grease. Moreover, two samples of water were treated using reverse osmosis technique which showed its ability to treat such contaminated water. The results showed that the environmental impact of produced water arises from its chemical composition; i.e., its salt content, its heavy metals, and hydrocarbon contents.

Two homopolymeric and three copolymeric additives for base oil were synthesized using octyl acrylate (OA) and tert-butyl acrylamide (TBA) monomers. The two additives named P1 and P2 are the homopolymers of TBA and OA, respectively, whereas copolymeric additives named Co1, Co2, and Co3 were synthesized by varying the ratios of TBA:OA as 1:3, 3:1 and 1:1, respectively.
