This study focuses on the phenomenon of child labour, which is regarded as a problem not only in Iraq or in developing countries but also in many other countries around the world .In fact, this problem is ignored and not given enough attention for there are millions of children working and doing different works in economically poor societies. Those children often work for long hours and are being exploited, doing works incompatible with their abilities and energy, preventing them from enjoying their childhood, developing both mentally and physically and joining school. The research introduced some suggestions aiming at preventing children from all forms of harmful and unhealthy works are presented. In fact, this is the very aim that most governments try to achieve in order to prevent children from doing such works and to provide some serious alternatives as not to return to such works again.
The co-occurrence of metabolic syndrome with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) will potentiate the morbidity and mortality that may be associated with each case. Fasting triglycerides-glucose index (TyG index) has been recommended as a useful marker to predict metabolic syndrome. Our study aimed to introduce gender-specific cut-off values of triglycerides- glucose index for diagnosing metabolic syndrome associated with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The study included the collection of samples of raw cow milk to isolate Leuconostoc bacteria, samples were sub cultured on De-Man Rogosa Sharpe-Vancomycin medium, the pure colonies were selected and subjected to the cultural and microscopically tests, according to that 25 cocci bacterial isolates were obtained, then isolates were subjected to biochemical tests. Result of tests showed that 12 isolates belong to the genus Leuconostoc out of 25 cocci bacterial isolates, Vitek2 system was used as a supplementary step. Microbial activity of Ellagic acid when mixed with some types of candy toward Streptococcus mutans microorganism was studied. The main purpose of carrying out this study is to produce a new type of candy that contains Ellagic acid in addition to xylitol instead of sucrose to prevent dental caries.
