In this research the results of applying Artificial Neural Networks with modified activation function to perform the online and offline identification of four Degrees of Freedom (4-DOF) Selective Compliance Assembly Robot Arm (SCARA) manipulator robot will be described. The proposed model of identification strategy consists of a feed-forward neural network with a modified activation function that operates in parallel with the SCARA robot model. This study specifically contributes to the urgent need for novel methods in Training of Trainers (ToT) programs which can be more effective and efficient through incorporation of AI tools. By exploring scenarios in which AI could be used to dramatically advance trainer preparation, knowledge-sharing, and skill-building across sectors, the research aims to understand the possibility. This study uses a mixed-methods approach, it surveys 500 trainers and conducts in-depth interviews with a further 50 ToT program directors across diverse industries to evaluate the impact of AI-enhanced ToT programs.
