The povety in a subjct of one of the most important problems that
accompanied the development process in iraq and is now pointing in the
depth of institutional struetues and threaten the sociol fabric and cohesion
mechamisms .
The study included of the most importana social problems that
accompamied thecrises and occupation in iraq as aproblem of unemployment
aworce, forced displacement and disintegration of family and juvenile
delinguency and the problems of drug addiction .
The study relied on sample slected from the city of Baghdad ,showed
the most important results of that two-thirds of the asssets of an urban sample
compared to one third of them from rural aelcyrounds and that there is
arelationship between family size and poverty level . And more than half of the respondents obtioed the pimary education
that the majority of families stressed that poverty was the most important
causes of social problems family. The study included a set of
recommenelation and proposals .
There have been many negative phenomena in Iraqi society, especially after the political crises over the last years, such as the spread of violence, the deterioration of the economic situation, the spread of unemployment and poverty, and the disintegration of social ties, divorce, and the entry of the scourge of drugs. Roughness length is one of the key variables in micrometeorological studies and environmental studies in regards to describing development of cities and urban environments. By utilizing the three dimensions ultrasonic anemometer installed at Mustansiriyah university, we determined the rate of the height of the rough elements (trees, buildings and bridges) to the surrounding area of the university for a radius of 1 km. After this, we calculated the zero-plane displacement length of eight sections and calculated the length of surface roughness. The results proved that the ranges of the variables above are ZH (9.2-13.8) m, Zd (4.3-8.1) m and Zo (0.24-0.48) m.

The research sought to identify the objective trends of postgraduate students at the College of Political Science - University of Baghdad for the period from 2000-2012 through the objective trends of university theses and dissertations and what are the most and least studied topics, with a re-adjustment of previously studied topics towards topics that serve issues of concern to society and avoiding topics that have been studied a lot to avoid repetition.
