The slums one of the main problem plaguing the city of Baghdad in general and

slums which took fills abandoned buildings and acquires vacant land agricultural ones and
allocated to different uses and which has not been implemented design basis so far, and
showed the study about the clarity of the features of this problem and the importance of
studying it is not just slums scattered here and there, but it is clearly visible, and a large
surface area and the number of families and the number of residential subdivision, which
threatens the problems and the effects of her land uses and private uses of the land residential
Current research aims to find out:
- Effect of using the active learning in the achievement of third grade intermediate students in mathematics.
- Effect of using of active learning in the tendency towards the study of mathematics for students of third grade intermediate.
In order to achieve the goals of the research, the researcher formulated the following two hypotheses null:
- There is no difference statistically significant at the level of significance (0.05) between two average of degrees to achievement

The study has used three different sizes of the samples (300, 500, 1000), as well as to test a component of twenty polytomous items, where each item has five categories. They were used Graded Response Model as a single polytomous item response theory model to estimate items and individuals’ parameters. The study has used the Mantel-Haenszel (MH) way to detect (DIF) through each case for the different samples. The results of the study showed the inverse relationship between the sample size and the number of items, which showed a differential performer.

This study aimed at highlighting the role of small and medium enterprises in bringing about economic development in Jordan. The study examined the impact of the number, size of investment and the number of jobs provided by these enterprises on the rate of growth in gross domestic product (GDP) as an indicator for economic development.
