Learn new methods of teaching mathematics contribute to raising the level of pupils to acquire mathematical concepts primary stage
Attempt advancement in the level of mathematics teaching for the better through the use of modern teaching strategies. The research aims at the progress in the acquisition of mathematical concepts schoolgirls after subjecting the fourth grade to teach in active learning strategies, the number of research sample (60) schoolgirl, by (30) schoolgirl experimental group and 30 pupils of the control group. Clear from the results shown the presence of a statistically significant difference between the acquisition of concepts of schoolgirls two groups (experimental and control) for the benefit of pupils of the experimental group who studied using active learning at the level of (0.05) in the Test acquire concepts, which was after the end of the experiment directly

Objective: To assess of Science Teachers' Awareness towards Communicable Diseases Control in Baghdad City

Methodology: A descriptive study was conducted, included (100) primary school, (50) in Al-Rassafa sector, and
(50) in Al-Karkh sector, from March 5th 2012 to March 15th 2013, to assess of science teachers' awareness
towards communicable diseases control. A cluster sample of (100) Science teachers (males and females) were
selected, as one teacher from each school. A questionnaire format was used for data collection. The validity of
questionnaire was estimated through a penal of experts related to the field of study, and its reliability was
estimated through a pilot study conducted in (20) schools (

the most appropriate management of penetrating
colon injuries, comparing the primary repair with
the diversion.
Methods: Eighty patient series with shell, bullet
and stab colonic injuries during 4.5 years period
from June 2006-december 2010 at Al-Yarmouk

primary repair versus diversion, analyzing
variables such as sex, age, severity of injury and
mortality rate.

Background: Nutrition and diet can affect the development and integrity of the oral cavity including the development and eruption of primary teeth. Aims of the study: The study was carried out to determine the effect of weight status of the child and gender on the number of deciduous teeth erupted in the oral cavity. Material and method: A children from the age 12 months -35 months attending Specialist Health Center and children of Nursery in Al-Khadraa, and nursery in Al- Aadamyia and Hay-Heteen. The number of teeth erupted, gender and body mass index were recorded. The Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is frequently used in pavement engineering
for road pavement inspection. The main objective of this work is to validate
nondestructive, quick and powerful measurements using GPR for assessment of subgrade
and asphalt /concrete conditions. In the present study, two different antennas
(250, 500 MHz) were used. The case studies are presented was carried in University
of Baghdad over about 100m of paved road. After data acquisition and radar grams
collection, they have been processed using RadExplorer V1.4 software
implementing different filters with the most effective ones (time zero adjustment and
DC removal) in addition to other interpretation tool parameters.
