...Show More Authors

That the strength of the community and its cohesion and integrity of its structure and morals and the prevailing relations and the strength of its institutions depends all on the numbers of a generation of students saturation of the culture of the nation and proud of its heritage and maintained their customs and traditions and voluntarily accept its laws. Students are the future leaders who are more than capable of giving, they represent class they are educated conscious backbone of the nation and the subject of their hopes, and their wealth and energies warehouse actors produced, and one of the key pillars in achieving developments in all areas of life.

Based on the above, the current research aims to identify:

. reflective thinking when middle school students.1

2.differences with statistical significance in thinking contemplative depending on variables (sex, section).

Identify current research students of fifth grade preparatory of both sexes, and branches (scientific and literary) in high school and middle school affiliated to the Second Karkh Directorate of the province of Baghdad, for the academic year (2015-2016).

In order to achieve objectives of the research, the researcher build reflective thinking which consisted of (29) items as the final measure, the researcher has unearthed the psychometric properties of the scale of validity and reliability.

The sample consisted of current research (410) students of (205) male to specialize Alalumbly and literary and (205) females scientific and literary specialty selected stratified random way, and after processing the data statistically researcher found the following results:

1.The fifth preparatory grade students are characterized by possessing a meditative reflection.

2.Do not Tugod statistically significant differences depending on variables (sex, section) and bilateral interaction between the two variables.

In light of these results the researcher set a number of recommendations and suggestions, including:

1.Care developed a Human Studies studied by students to activate reflective thinking they have a curriculum.

2.on based on the educational process by providing an appropriate environment for the development of descriptive reflective thinking of the students.

  1. use of teaching aids by the teachers and make practical experiences in the classroom and away from traditional styles.

The researcher set a number of proposals in prospective studies, including:

-a study on samples from the other students to study stages.1

2.a longitudinal study (developmental) for the growth and development of reflective thinking among primary school students

Continuous Flow Injection-Turbidimetric Analysis for Determination of Cobalt (II) Ion in Alloys Using a Microcell with Irradiation Sources at 0–180° Using a Single Solar Cell as a Detector
...Show More Authors

A cost-effective and efficient detector was created to conduct thorough turbidimetric measurements by reaction of Co (II) ion with calcium ferro cyanide to form bright green particulate, using the method of continuous flow injection analysis, the use of NAG-5SX1-1D-SSP Analyzer in determining cobalt (II) ion in a test for the validity of the new design. The NAG-5SX1-1D-SSP Analyzer is composed of five irradiation sources of white snow leds having the diameter of 10 mm with one solar cell of 55 mm length, 13.5 mm width. Using a selector switch to select the optimum voltage to be used which was 2.7 VDC. Under conditions of optimization, cobalt (II) ion was determined at 0.005–20 mmol. L–1(n = 23) while linearity dynamic range 0.005–7 mm

The Health Impact of Workers' Exposure to Particulate Matter (PM2.5, PM10) and Gaseous Pollutants (CO2, CO, NO2, SO2) Emitted from Barbecue Grills in Some Restaurants in Al-Rusafa District/Baghdad
...Show More Authors

This study aimed to evaluate the health effects of exposure to particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10) and gaseous pollutants, including carbon dioxide (CO2), carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), and sulfur dioxide (SO2), on the hematological parameters of workers exposed to charcoal grilling emissions in restaurants. Air pollutant concentrations were measured in six barbecue restaurants located in Al-Rusafa District, Baghdad, during December 2024 and January 2025. Nine measurements were recorded monthly during morning and evening peak cooking periods. Blood samples were collected from two groups: grilling workers exposed directly to charcoal smoke (n = 30) and customers from dining areas as the control group (n = 30). Hematological an

Corrigendum to ‘Revisiting the role of [BMIm]Cl ionic liquid in carboxymethyl cellulose-based polymer electrolytes: Insights from experimental and density functional theory modeling’ [Mater. Today Chem., 47 (2025), 102821]
...Show More Authors

Lithium-based rechargeable batteries (LbRBs) are essential for applications in vehicles, wearable electronics, and large-scale energy storage due to their high energy density. However, safety concerns associated with flammable organic electrolytes hinder further development. Advancing Li-ion battery technology requires improved conductivity, energy density, and safety, particularly in the development of all-solid-state lithium-ion batteries (ASSLiBs). This work explores carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC)-based solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs) as sustainable alternatives for lithium-ion batteries. The synergistic effects of 1-butyl-3-methyl imidazolium chloride ([BMIm]Cl) ionic liquid, as a plasticizer, and lithium acetate (LiCH3COO) enhance the

New metal complexes of the ligand 4-[5-(2-hydoxy-phenyl)-[1,3,4- oxadiazol -2-ylimino methyl]-1,5-dimethyl-2-phenyl-1,2-dihydro-pyrazol-3-one (L) with the metal ions Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) were prepared in alcoholic medium. The Schiff base was synthesized through condensate of [4-antipyrincarboxaldehyde] with[2-amino-5-(2-hydroxy-phenyl-1,3,4- oxadiazol] in alcoholic medium . Two tetradentate Schiff base ligand were used for complexation upon two metal ions of Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+ and Zn2+ as dineucler formula M2L2.4H2O. The metal complexes were characterized by FTIR Spectroscopy, electronic Spectroscopy, elemental analysis, magnetic susceptidbility measurements, and also the ligand was characterized by 1H-NMR spectra, and m

Synthesis and characterization of (E)-4-(((4-(5-mercapto-1, 3, 4-oxadiazol-2-yl) phenyl) amino) methyl)-2-methoxyphenol as a novel corrosion inhibitor for mild-steel in acidic medium
...Show More Authors

Metal corrosion is a destructive process for many industrial operations, including oil well acidizing and acid pickling. Therefore, numerous efforts made by many researchers to control the steel corrosion. In the present work, A (E)-4-(((4-(5-mercapto-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-yl) phenyl) amino) methyl)-2-methoxyphenol (MOPM) has been synthesized and characterized as a new corrosion inhibitor for mild steel in 0.1 M hydrochloric acid. FTIR and 1 HNMR were used in the diagnosis of MOPM, while electrochemical polarization technique was employed to test the performance of inhibitor at various temperatures and inhibitor concentrations. Electrochemical studies showed that MOPM acts as a mixed-type inhibitor with a maximum inhibition efficiency of
