The Arabic Grammar between Originality and Sufficiency
This study devoted to the emergence of the Arab-Islamic architectural thought and its development. Introduced through a lengthy introduction to the reality of architecture in the Arab world, showed the control methods and concepts of Western architecture in architectural education and in practice.

او الظرف وحسن التناول
او الالتزام لما يندب له الانسان(1) .
وقد كثر استخدام هذه اللفظة في التراث فقيل ادب الطبيب ، وادب الوزير، وادب القاضي ، وادب المائدة ، وادب الخط ، وادب المعلم والمتعلم ، وادب المعلم في نفسه وفي درسه ،وادب المتعلم مع استاذه وادب البحث والدرس.
لا شك أن الموسيقى هي أقدر الفنون على خدمة الإنسان، وهي أرقى أنواع منشطات الحياة والصحة النفسية والعضوية، فالصحة النفسية والعضوية هي تناسق الشيء مع كل شيء الخلية مع الخلايا، والروح مع الأرواح، والإنسان مع الكون، كما تتناسق النغمة مع النغمات، والآلة مع الآلات .
Paronomasia is a recognized rhetorical device by which poets could play with words that are similar or identical in form but different in meaning. The present study aims to identify paronomasia in Arabic and English. To achieve the aim of the study, a corpus of selected verses chosen from two famous figures in Arabic and English literatures and analyzed thoroughly. The analysis of data under investigation reveals that paronomasia is a crucial aid used by poets to portrait the real world as imaginative. This paper is an attempt to investigate and analyse some stylistic features in two selected, English and Arabic, war poems. These poems share the same theme.Both promote the principle of sacrificing one’s own life for the sake of homeland. This paper limits itself to analyse, thecontent words, tenses, semantic grouping of vocabulary and foregrounding in the two poems. The areas of analysis show great similarities in distributing the general content words (nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs). In the analysis of the semantic areas of each content word, these poems reveal some similarities and some differences in their frequency rates.

Some of the metaphorical expressions in Iraqi colloquial Arabicarewidely used by Iraqi speakers in everyday language. Ithas been analyzed by following the cognitive theory of metaphor (Lakoff& Johnson,1980).The study indicates that the Iraqi speakerexperiences more of the metaphorical expressions of UP and DOWN to referto many of the abstract concepts that shape his/her impression of everyday life situations.
