The study aimed to recognize the impact of polygamy on academic achievement and self-confidence among Sattam bin Abdul Aziz University students. To achieve this goal, the researchers used the Descriptive Analytical method using The Self Confidence measurement ,that has been prepared for the purposes of this study, consists set of 29 questions, then applied to the students sample that emerges from polygamy and one- wife families, study sample consists of randomly selected 230 students registered for the year .1435-1436
The results of the study showed presence of medium statistical impact on the significance level (a 4 0.05), this proof significant statistical effect of polygamy on self-confidence among the sample of Prince Sat-tam University students. However, lack of impact of polygamy on academic achievement among students in Prince Sattam University where (eh' value) of the tow variables did not reach the value of significance level (a 5 0.05). The statistical significant differences at (a 5 0.05) of polygamy on self-confidence among the sample of Prince Sattam University students depending on the variables academic status and economic situation shown to have strong influence, as f-value —5.634 at the significance level (0.00). To detect thedifference points Scheffe test been applied. In light of the study results; the researchers recommend increasing awareness and apply the prober Islamic ruling of polygamy in terms of physical and financial qualifications as well as apply equality between wives and their children, since this issue shown strong impact ,mo Sattam bin Abdul Aziz University students. The current research aims to identify the Vocational Self of the educational counselors as well as to identify the significant difference in the professional self according to the gender variable (male-female). The researcher adopted the scale of al-hasani (2015), which consisted of (34) items. It was applied to a sample of (300) school counselors (male-female) who were randomly selected from the six directorates in the Baghdad governorate for the academic year 2020/2021. The results showed that the research sample of educational counselors has a vocational self-concept. There are no statistically significant differences in the vocational self-concept between males and females among the educational counselors.
