Building the Test of Drawing Skill for the Female students of Kindergartens' Department
...Show More Authors

The research issue and its importance concentrate on the importance of choosing and
preparing the kindergarten's teacher educationally ,psychologically and artistically ,and other
aspects because of their need for several skills such as the drawing skill for kindergarten
curriculums include a various artistic experiences and activities as well as for the drawing
importance for the child .And from this, the research goals raise from to prepare a test that
measures the drawing skill for kindergarten students and measure the drawing skill in all four
kindergarten students at the kindergarten department and recognize the differences level for
these students . In order to achieve the first goal in the research ,the researchers builds a test
for drawing skill in accordance with the artistic expression activities in kindergarten .And the
truth and the analytic statistician ( recognition ,the relationship of item degree with the total
degree ,the difficulty parameter and stability) so a sample construction amounted (300)
female students from kindergartens' department\University of Bagdad\College of education
for girls and Mustansiriya University College of basic education, and then had been
calculated and applied on a sample of (100) female student in kindergarten students .The
results showed that the degree of drawing skill level was medium in female students ,and the
third stage students were better than other stages in drawing skill .Thereby ,the test appears in
its final form which includes : the drawing skill test , human shape ,cat ,palm tree ,and car,
during a specific time (13) minute, while the correction standard was as follows:
1. Each sub-skills in less than specific time given degree (1)
2. Sub skills less in time or less or more than the specified time given degree (zero)

impact of mental games on improving shooting accuracy among young basketball players in Iraqi clubs
...Show More Authors

This study investigates the effectiveness of mental games in enhancing shooting accuracy among young basketball players. Initially, baseline shooting accuracy was assessed through tests conducted prior to a three-week intervention involving mental games. A follow-up test revealed a significant improvement in participants' shooting accuracy following the intervention. Given the noticeable differences in the new shooting scores compared to the initial assessments, a second set of pre-intervention tests was conducted. These tests reaffirmed the significant enhancement in shooting accuracy, substantiating the hypothesis that mental games positively affect performance. The findings highlight the importance of these intervention programs

Removal of Methyl Orange from Aqueous Solutions by Adsorption Using Corn Leaves as Adsorbent Material
...Show More Authors

A comparative study was done on the adsorption of methyl orange dye (MO) using non-activated and activated corn leaves with hydrochloric acid as an adsorbent material. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) were utilized to specify the properties of adsorbent material. The effect of several variables (pH, initial dye concentration, temperature, amount of adsorbent and contact time) on the removal efficiency was studied and the results indicated that the adsorption efficiency increases with the increase in the concentration of dye, adsorbent dosage and contact time, while inversely proportional to the increase in pH and temperature for both the treated and untreated corn leav

Antimicrobial efficacy of silver, zinc oxide, and titanium dioxide nanoparticles incorporated in orthodontic bonding agent
...Show More Authors

Background: One of the most important complications of fixed orthodontic treatment is formation of white spots, which are initial carious lesions. Addition of antimicrobial agents into orthodontic adhesive material might be wise solution for prevention of white spots formation. The aim of this study was to evaluate the antibacterial properties of orthodontic adhesive primer against S. Mutans after adding the three different types of nanoparticles (Ag, ZnO, or TiO2). Materials and methods: Discs were prepared using empty insulin syringe approximately 2 mm×2 mm rounded in shape specimens (40 discs) were divided into four groups (ten discs for each group): The first group was the control (made from primer only), the second group (10 dis

Flexural Performance of Encased Pultruded GFRP I-Beam with High Strength Concrete under Static Loading
...Show More Authors

There is an interesting potential for the use of GFRP-pultruded profiles in hybrid GFRP-concrete structural elements, either for new constructions or for the rehabilitation of existing structures. This paper provides experimental and numerical investigations on the flexural performance of reinforced concrete (RC) specimens composite with encased pultruded GFRP I-sections. Five simply supported composite beams were tested in this experimental program to investigate the static flexural behavior of encased GFRP beams with high-strength concrete. Besides, the effect of using shear studs to improve the composite interaction between the GFRP beam and concrete as well as the effect of web stiffeners of GFRP were explored. Encasing the GFRP

EXHAUST ANALYSIS AND PERFORMANCE OF A SINGLE CYLINDER DIESEL ENGINE RUN ON DUAL FUELS MODE
...Show More Authors

Generally fossil based fuels are used in internal combustion engines as an energy source.
Excessive use of fossil based fuels diminishes present reserves and increases the air pollution in
urban areas. This enhances the importance of the effective use of present reserves and/or to develop
new alternative fuels, which are environment friendly. Use of alternative fuel is a way of emission
control. The term “Alternative Gaseous Fuels” relates to a wide range of fuels that are in the
gaseous state at ambient conditions, whether when used on their own or as components of mixtures
with other fuels.
In this study, a single cylinder diesel engine was modified to use LPG in dual fuel mode to study
the performance, emis

A facile method of deriving solar selective nickel-cobalt oxide thin films via spraying process
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>The present study focuses on synthesizing solar selective absorber thin films, combining nanostructured, binary transition metal spinel features and a composite oxide of Co and Ni. Single-layered designs of crystalline spinel-type oxides using a facile, easy and relatively cost-effective wet chemical spray pyrolysis method were prepared with a crystalline structure of MxCo3−xO4. The role of the annealing temperature on the solar selective performance of nickel-cobalt oxide thin films (∼725 ± 20 nm thick) was investigated. XRD analysis confirmed the formation of high crystalline quality thin films with a crystallite si</p> ... Show More

Comparative study between pure bacterocin and vancomycin on biofilms of MRSA isolated from medical implants
...Show More Authors

Thirty swabes of medical implants were collected from Al-Yarmouk's hospital which were cultured on manitole agar to isolate Staphelococcus aureus . Only four samples gave positive results with this media. It was used ten types of antibiotics to test the sensitivity of this bacterium against them. All isolates of S. aureus were recorded as multidrug resistant and were considered as MRSA. One pledge alternative therapy is the utilize of certain pure bacterocin MIC (32.5 to 62.5 μg/ml) and it was compared with vancomycin (200-400 μg/ml) with average of (8 – 15) mm diameter of inhibition zones recpectively. The first reduction of biofilm formation ability has been proved in catheters when treatedby pure bacterocin. The test shows the highes
