Background: Malignant lymphoma is the generic term given to tumors of the lymphoid system and specifically of lymphocytes and their precursor cells, While all lymphomas are malignant neoplasms, there is a wide spectrum of clinical behavior, with some following an indolent clinical course and others behaving in an aggressive manner (will causing death in a short time frame if left untreated). The metastatic process involves intravasation and extravasation of tumor cells, followed by reimplantation of tumor cells, formation of a new tumor stoma, Degradation of the extracellular matrix and components of the basement membrane by proteases facilitates the detachment of tumor cells, their crossing of tissue boundaries, and invasion into adjacent tissue compartments. The importance of tumor-associated proteases in invasion and metastasis has been demonstrated for a variety of solid malignant tumors. MMP family has been implicated in tumor cell invasion and metastasis. Material and methods: This study included 67 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded histopathologically diagnosed lymphoma blocks (head and neck lesions), 24 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and 43 Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Immunohistochemical (IHC) evaluation of MMP-9 monoclonal antibodies), in relation to the clinicopathological parameters was assessed. Results: The mean of expression of MMP-9 in NHL was higher (65.4±18) than that in HL (56.7±21.4) though it did not reach the level of statistical difference P > (0.05), while the mean of expression of MMP-9 in relation to tumor grades was different as it had a value of (72±14.1) in low grade tumors, (68.3±15) in the intermediate grade tumor and (61.4±20.7) in high grade tumors; consequently, this difference did not reached the level of statistical significance P(ANOVA) >0.05 . MMP 9 had no statistical significant correlation in regard to its mean in HL subtypes. Conclusions: This study had shown that there was no significant correlation between age and mean of expression of MMP-9 in HL and NHL. There was no statistical significant difference in the mean of expression of MMP-9 between HL and NHL subtypes. Keywords: MMP-9, local invasion, Hodgkin’s lymphoma, Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

The main objective of this study is to find the efficiency of the derived Bayesian estimator compared to the maximum likelihood of this function and moment method using simulation technique by Monte Carlo method under different Laplace distribution parameters and sample sizes. Iraqi siliceous rocks were chosen to be used as raw materials in this study which is concern with the linear shrinkage and their related parameters. They are porcelinite from Safra area (western desert) and Kaolin Duekla, their powders were mixed in certain percentage, to shape compacts and sintered. The study followed with thermal and chemical treatments, which are calcination and acid washing. The effects on final compact properties such as linear shrinkage were studied. Linear shrinkage was calculated for sintered compacts to study the effects of calcination processes, chemical washing, weight percentage, sintering processes, loading moment were studied on this property where the compacts for groups is insulating materials.

Optical properties of Rhodamine-B thin film prepared by PLD
technique have been investigated. The absorption spectra using
1064nm and 532 nm laser wavelength of different laser pulse
energies shows that all the curves contain two bands, B band and Q
bands with two branches, Q1 and Q2 band and a small shift in the
peaks location toward the long wavelength with increasing laser
energy. FTIR patterns for Rhodamine-B powder and thin film within

Zinc oxide nanoparticles sample is prepared by the precipitation method. This method involves using zinc nitrate and urea in aqueous solution, then (AgNO3) Solution with different concentrations is added. The obtained precipitated compound is structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Atomic force microscopy (AFM) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). Littoral and benthic invertebrates from Roundwood Reservoir System were sampled. Oligochaetes and molluscs were the dominant organisms in the littoral and benthic areas Trichopterans and chironomids were the most abundant insect groups. Scuba diving samples reinforced that view. Other groups of macroinvertebrates were poorly represented. Vertical and horizontal hauls of zooplankton revealed that there were twelve species of zooplankton present. Daphnia hyalina Leydig and Bosmina coregoni Baird were the two dominant species.
This research aimed to examine the effect of concentration of dyes stuff, contact time, temperature and ratio of adsorbent weight in (gm) to volume of solution in (ml) on the percentage removal. Two dyes were used; direct blue 6 and direct yellow and the adsorbent was the maize cob. Batch experiments were performed by contacting different weights of adsorbent with 50 ml of solution of desired concentration with continuous stirring at various temperatures. The percentage of removal was calculated and the maximum percentage of removal was 80%. And as the concentration of solution, contact time, temperature and the ratio of adsorbent to volume of solution increase the percentage of removal increase.
