Batool Maternity Teaching Hospital and to identify
how many of them were done for maternal and fetal
condition.
Design: A statistical cross sectional study.
Setting: The study was conducted at Al-Batool
Maternity Teaching Hospital (13000 deliveries per
year).
Participants: The patients group consists of 4556
patients admitted for delivery (vaginal and abdominal)
during a period of four months commencing from
January 2003.

births, calculation of cesarean section rate, percentage
of the primary cesarean sections and the repeat

The experiment was conducted with a refrigerator designed to work with HFC134a, under no load and with loads of (1.5,3 and 12 liters of water). A metal mandrel was designed for manufacturing the cathodes of high power electron tube ( Tetrode ) used in broadcasting transmitting tubes type TH558 and CQS200.The cathodes were manufactured in the present work from thoriated tungsten wires ( 2? The effect of using different R -molar ratio under variable reaction conditions (acidic as well as basic environment and reaction temperature) have been studied. The overall experiments are driven with open and closed systems. The study shows that there is an optimum value for a minimum gelling time at R equal 2. The gelling time for all studied open system found to be shorter than in closed system. In acidic environment and when R value increased from 2 to 10, the gelling time of closed systems has increased four times than open systems at T=30 ?C and fourteen times when temperature reaction increased to 60 ?C. While in basic environment the influence of increasing R value was limited.
