Background: Survey of the occlusion in population groups usually include in their objections the academic assessment of occlusal feature, the planning resources for public health treatment programmers, the comparison of different population and the screening of groups for orthodontic treatment. Likewise a thorough investigation of the occurrence of malocclusions among school–students would be of major importance in the planning of orthodontic treatment in the public dental health services. For this purpose it is necessary to have detailed information on the prevalence of individual malocclusion among boys and girls at different ages distributed regionally, and moreover, an analysis of the need for orthodontic treatment in the different school classes. Materials and methods: This study was conducted from 20th October 2011 to 9th May 2013 on (3424 ) students (1712 males and 1712 females); from which 62 students (1.8%) were excluded because of incomplete information (no molar relation can be attended) giving a valid sample of 3362 (1681 males and 1681 females) aged (15) years old were studied with respect to facial profile ,sagittal occlusion according to Angle's classification, overjet, overbite, anterior crossbite , posterior crossbite, scissorsbite, rotation and displacement spacing and crowding. Results: The normal profile were presented in (73.76%) students (74%) males and (73.53%) females. Convex profiles were presented (20.34%) students (20.46%) males and (20.23%) females. A concave profile were presented in (5.9%) students (5.54%) males and (6.24%) females), The malocclusion were presented (73.05%) students (73.46%) males and (72.64%) females, According to the Dental health component of index of the orthodontic treatment subjects with no need for treatment were about 44.11% , the subjects who need little treatment were about 26.82%, 13.06% of the subjects who need moderate treatment, 10.03% great treatment need and about 5.98% very greatly treatment need. Conclusions: Orthodontic treatment need according to IOTN shows that there was no significant difference between males and females in the malocclusion, Facial profile and treatment need.

In this research, the effect of changing the flood level of Al-Shuwaija marsh was studied using the geographic information systems, specifically the QGIS program, and the STRM digital elevation model with a spatial analysis accuracy of 28 meters, was used to study the marsh. The hydraulic factors that characterize the marsh and affecting on the flooding such as the ranks of the water channels feeding the marsh and the degree of slope and flat areas in it are studied. The area of immersion water, the mean depth, and the accumulated water volume are calculated for each immersion level, thereby, this study finds the safe immersion level for this marsh was determined.

The thermoelectric power as a function of temperature for the Iron-Manganese-Aluminum, Fe-Mn-Al, alloys for manganese concentrations 0.04, 0.06, 0.08, 0.10 and 0.20 have been investigated in the temperature range 300 K. to 500 K. these results showed that the thermoelectric power coefficient in hot probe measurements showed that the electrons are the majority charge carriers in these alloys.

A total of 437 individuals of Turbellarin Platyhelminthes were sorted from benthic samples collected monthly for a period of seven months( April to November 2013 ) from AL-Dalmage lake, a part of middle section for main outfall drain south of Baghdad. They were identified as Gyratrix hermaphroditus, Stenostomum leucops ,Stenostomum unicolar and Stenostomum bryophilum ,The relative abundance of worms decreased during hot season which (May to September) ,where they start rising again. The species were studied alive , the identification criteria were illustrated by photos. G. hermaphroditus was the most abundant species among the four species.
The microstructure and wear properties of 392 Al alloy with different Mg contents were studied using centrifugal casting. All melted alloys were heated to 800 ºC and poured into the preheated centrifugal casting mold (200-250 ºC) at different mould rotational speeds (1500, 1900 and 2300 r.p.m). It is clear from the results obtained that wear rate was dependent on the Mg content, applied load and mould rotational speed. Furthermore, wear test showed that the minimum wear rate was found in the inner layer of produced rings at mould rotational speed of 1900 r.p.m and Mg content of 5%.
