Background: Adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC) constitutes about 4% of salivary epithelial tumors and is the second common malignant epithelial salivary gland tumor involving both the major and minor salivary glands. Aims of the study is to evaluate immunohistochemical expression of Ki67 and p53 proteins in ACC. Materials and Methods: immunohistochemical analyses of fifteen cases of formalin – fixed paraffin – embedded tissues blocks of ACC of salivary glands using ki67 and p53 antibodies. Results: ki67 was expressed in 6 of 15 ACC (40%) while p53 aberration was demonstrated in 11 of tumor (73.3%). There was a statistically significant difference between the expression of ki67 and p53 proteins in ACC cases (p value = 0.041). Pearson’s correlation test demonstrated a significant positive correlation between the numbers of percentage of ki67 and p53 positive cells in ACC cases (r = 0.042). Conclusions: This study suggests that ki67 positive actively proliferating cells and p53 aberrations may play a role in ACC development and progression.

In this study, Standard Precipitation Index (SPI) and Mann-Kendall test statistical tools were employed to analyze rainfall trends and patterns in Gombe metropolis between 1990 and 2020 and the ARIMA model was used for making the forecast for ten (10) years. To detect the amount of Rifampicin in bulk and medicinal dosage formulations, an accurate, and cost-effective UV spectrophotometric technique has been developed using the area under the peak to estimate the presence of Rifampicin. This range of wavelengths (300–356) nm was chosen. The method showed linearity in the 2-22 μg/mL range, with R2 being 0.9996. The developed method' linearity, detection limit, quantification limit, precision, repeatability, and accuracy were all statistically and experimentally validated. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of feeding diets containing different levels of parsley on the hematological traits of local Iraqi geese. A total of twenty-four local geese, one year old, were used in this experiment. The birds were allocated into four treatment groups, consisting of six geese each. The essay investigates the rise and development of the prose poem form in Iraqi poetry in the period during and after the 1980s Iraq–Iran war. The essay follows the legacy of Western experiments with form following the First World War and their impact on the development of form in Iraqi poetry culminating in the prose poem. The dominance of this form on poetic development in this period has a close relationship with the experience of warfare and the ensuing of the cultural changes in Iraq after 1980.
