Assessment of the anatomical knowledge in undergraduate Nursing collage students

Abstract Objective: The aim of this study is to evaluate the level of the anatomical knowledge of undergraduate students in Nursing collage/Baghdad university.Methodology:The sample was collected by symmetrical probability. Research sample includes (197)students represent four classes which is distributed as following: fifty students represent first class, fifty students represent the second class, forty nine students represent the third class,&fourty eight students represent the fourth class. Results:The study concludes that the anatomical knowledge level for collage students is intermediate .The main level of anatomical knowledge for each class is that as following; medium of intermediate level for the first & the second classes, between the intermediate& good level for the third class,& the highest degree of the passing level for the fourth class. The statistical analysis appears that there are significant differences between male &female in the first, second &third classes while there is no significant difference in the fourth class,& also there are significant differences among the four classes. Recommendation: the semester hours should be increased & the curriculum should be changed to become annular rather than one semester. Key words: (anatomy, knowledge, students, nurse, assessment)

Objective: To assess pregnant women Knowledge toward Urinary Tract Infection at Kirkuk City.


Methodology: A descriptive and analytical study was conducted from 1st of November 2013 and up to the 19 th of August 2014 in five typical primary health care centers at Kirkuk City. A Probability (randomly sample) was used to select the sample of 180 women aged (15-44) years. A questionnaire format was used as a tool for data collection , content validity of the questionnaire achieved through reviewing it by (24) experts in numerous scientific fields and reliability of the questionnaire was determined through a pilot study. this paper consists of three sections, Section one deals with the most important difficulties and characteristics of English subordinate clauses whereas section two tackles the difficulties faced by the Iraqi EFL students at the third year in the Department of English, College of languages, University of Baghdad in recognizing and producing the subordinate clauses submitting them to a test consisting of two questions (recognition and production). Finally, some pedagogical recommendation of the findings can be found in section four.

The awareness degree of teacher students in Arabic language department and their supervisors at Al-aqsa University for their future role in knowledge age

The study aimed to identify the awareness degree of teacher students in the department of Arabic language and their supervisors at Al-aqsa University for their future roles in the age of knowledge. To achieve this objective, descriptive- analytical approach was used. The instruments of this study were two questionnaires: first one consist of (20) item for teacher students, and the second consist of (27) item for educational supervisors which covered three roles: professional, technological, and humanitarian. The sample was (120) student selected randomly, and (39) supervisors of Arabic language.
