The most significant function in oil exploration is determining the reservoir facies, which are based mostly on the primary features of rocks. Irrigation water isolates represented 25% of isolates while wastewater 75%. all isolates were identified by morphological, microscopial, biochemical tests and VITEK®2 Compact. The main source of water supply in Iraq is the surface water, especially Tigris and Euphrates Rivers and their tributaries.
