Baghdad teaching hospitals was selected. The data were collected through the use of constructing questionnaire
and by means of an interview technique with the patients; the questionnaire consists of two parts (1)
demographic data (2) patients' satisfaction to nursing care. The validity of the study questionnaire was
determined through the panel of experts and the reliability of the study questionnaire was determined through
the pilot study. Descriptive statistical analysis procedure (frequency, percentage and mean of score) and
inferential analysis procedure (person correlation coefficient, chi-square test and t-test) were used for data
analysis.
Results: The findings of the study indicated that there is high satisfaction to clinical nursing care, communication
/patient –nurse relationship and moderate satisfaction toward nursing health education. Not statistical
significant difference between (gender, age, educational status, marital status, occupational status, frequency of
hemodialysis and duration of hemodialysis). While there is a statistical significant difference between patients'
occupational status and their satisfaction toward communication /patient –nurse relationship.
Recommendations: Great emphasize should be directed toward the educational aspects of hemodialysis unit by
providing educational posters, guidelines, pamphlets and manuals.

The study was conducted from November 2021 to May 2022 at the three study sites within the Baghdad governorate. The study aims to identify the impact of human activities on the Tigris River, so an area free of human activities was chosen and represented the first site. A total of 48 types were diagnosed, 6204 ind/m3 spread over three sites. The following environmental indicators were evaluated: Constancy Index (S), Relative abundance index (Ra), Richness Index (between 17.995 and 23.251), Shannon Weiner Index (0.48-1.25 bit/ind.), Uniformity Index (0.124 -0.323). Um-Al-Naaj region in Al-Hawiezah Marsh, Southern Iraq was chosen to study the environmental variations of some water characteristics during 2008, seasonally. The results showed clear seasonal changes in values of some environmental variables (temperature, depth, light penetration, turbidity, total suspended solids, pH, dissolved oxygen, reactive phosphate, reactive nitrite, and reactive nitrate), while there were no clear seasonal changes in electrical conductivity and salinity values.
