Back ground: In the present study Pinealoctomy
was used to study the sympathetic innervations of
the pineal gland by the superior cervical ganglion
(SCG) of the albino rat.
Objective: Following Pinealoctomy, it is
expected to observe the Chromatolysis reaction in
some neurons of the SCG if they were to innervate
the pineal gland (i.e. retrograde Chromatolysis
changes).
Methods: Fifty albino rats were used in this study,
Pinealoctomy was done, then after a different time
interval ganglionectomy was done, in order to
study the Chromatolysis in their cell body.

This study aims to analyze the spectral properties of plasma produced from rice husk(Rh) using the laser breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) method. The plasma generation process used the fundamental harmonic (1064 nm) of a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser. Yttrium aluminum garnet (YAG) is a man-made crystalline material. The laser fired pulses with a duration of 10 ns and a repetition rate of 6 Hz. Thus, the energy outputs achieved were 50–200 mJ at the wavelength of 1064 (nm). Q-switched lasers widely used in management skin diseases and
sometimes its effect may be inadequate or associated with
cytotoxicity. The current study aimed to investigate the effect of
Q-switched Nd:YAG laser upon cellular elements using in vitro
experimental model. Aqueous solutions of human albumin and pure
calf thymus double strand deoxyribonucleic acid (ctdsDNA)
irradiated with Q-switched Nd:YAG laser at different rates (1, 3 Hz)
and time exposure (up to 60 seconds) using 532 nm (400 mJ) and
1064 (1200 mJ) nm wavelength with fixed spot size of 4 mm. The
