Instruments for the measurements of radon, thoron and its decay
products in air are based mostly on the detection of alpha particles.
The health hazards of radon on general public are well known. In
order to understand the level and distribution of 222Rn concentrations
indoor in Al-Fallujah City; new technique was used, this technique
was three radon–thoron mixed field dosimeters is made up of a twin
chamber cylindrical system and three LR-115 type II detectors were
employed. The aim of this work was to measurement radon gas using
SSNTD technique door in in Al-Fallujah City, and estimation of
excess in cancer due to increment in radon gas. Results for samples
which are collected from January to April 2013 show that the 222Rn
concentration varies from 52.33 to 108.70 Bq.m-3 with an average of
84.64 Bq.m-3, according to EPA and ICRP, the average indoor radon
level should be 148 Bq/m3 and 300 Bq/m3, respectively, whereas
approximately 15 Bq/m3 (ranging from 1 Bq/m3 to 100 Bq/m3 of
radon concentration is normally found in outside air. Also the values
of annual effective dose and excess lung cancer per million people
per year (ELC) have also been calculated and found to vary from
0.941 to 2.350 mSv.y-1 with an overall average of 1.581 mSv.y-1 and,
565 to 1410 with an overall average 948, respectively.
transformations and successive crises the world has witnessed, which have led to ambiguity in the global scene and difficulty in predicting its future trajectories. The COVID-19 pandemic represented a pivotal event that reshaped the balance of international power, revealed the fragility of economic, political, and social structures in many countries, and cast its shadow over the system of international cooperation and global governance mechanisms. In light of these developments, the international system no longer operates according to the traditional rules and patterns that prevailed before the pandemic. Instead, it has entered a new phase characterized by instability, growing geopolitical competition, and shifting centers of power and infl

The mixed complexes have been prepared and characterized using 1H and13C NMR, UV/Visible, FTIR spectra methods and elemental microanalysis, as well as magnetic susceptibility and conductivity measurements. The metal complexes were tested in vitro against three types of pathogenic bacteria microorganisms: Staphylococcus aurous, Escherichia coli, Bacillussubtilis and Pseudomonasaeroginosa to assess their antimicrobial properties. From this study shows that all the

Emphasized the mathematical compartment models using fractional derivative (Caputo model) approach to investigate the change in sustained drug concentration in different compartments of the human body system through the oral route or the intravenous route. Law of mass action, first-order kinetics, and Fick's perfusion principle were used to develop mathematical compartment models representing sustained drug diffusion throughout the human body. To adequately predict the sustained drug diffusion into various compartments of the human body, consider fractional derivative (Caputo model) to investiga

Compounds were investigation by Proton-1, Carbon -13 NMR spectra (ligand (L) only), Element Microanalysis for C, N, H, O, S, Fourier-transform infrared, UV visible, Conductance
The compound [L] was produced in the current study through the reaction of 4-aminoacetophenon with 4-methoxyaniline in the cold, concentrated HCl with 10% NaNO2. Curcumin, several transition metal complexes (Ni (II), La (III), and Hg (II)), and compound [L] were combined in EtOH to create new complexes. UV-vis spectroscopy, FTIR, AA, TGA-DSC, conductivity, chloride content, and elemental analysis (CHNS) were used to describe the structure of produced complexes. Biological activities against fungi, S. aureus (G+), Pseudomonas (G-), E. coli (G-), and Proteus (G-) were demonstrated using complexes. Depending on the outcomes of the aforementioned methods, octahedral formulas were given as the geometrical structures for each created comp

Use of the biomarkers available in oral fluids could be a revolutionary surrogate for the manual probing/diagnostic radiograph. Several salivary biomarkers have the potential to accurately discriminate periodontal health and disease. This study aimed to determine the diagnostic sensitivity and specificity of salivary interleukin (IL)‐17, receptor activator of nuclear factor‐κB ligand (RANKL), osteoprotegerin (OPG), RANKL/OPG for differentiating (1) periodontal health from disease and (2) stable a
The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of local application of bisphosphonate gel and recombinant human bone morphogenic protein 2 gel, on titanium dental implant stability and marginal bone level. Twenty-seven patients with upper and lower missing posterior tooth/teeth were included in the study with a total of 71 implants that were used for rehabilitation. The implants were randomly divided into 4 groups: 3 study groups and 1 control. Group1; local application of bisphosphonate gel, group 2; local application of recombinant human bone morphogenic protein 2 gel, group 3; local application of a mixed formula of both gels. The gel application was immediately preimplant insertion, group 4; implant insertion without application of a
