This study investigated the outcome of Alstonia boonei stem bark on liver enzymes after inducing the Wistar albino rats with carbon tetrachloride (CCl₄). This effect of plant extract was compared with silymarin – a drug commonly used for the treatment of chronic hepatocyte disorder. In this study, a mathematical model for the kinetics of solute transport in liquid membrane systems (LMSs) has been formulated. This model merged the mechanisms of consecutive and reversible processes with a “semi-derived” diffusion expression, resulting in equations that describe solute concentrations in the three sections (donor, acceptor and membrane). These equations have been refined into linear forms, which are satisfying in the special conditions for simplification obtaining the important kinetic constants of the process experimentally.

The aim of this research is to design and construct a
semiconductor laser range finder operating in the near infrared range
for ranging and designation. The main part of the range finder is the
transmitter which is a semiconductor laser type GaAs of wavelength
0.904 μm with a beam expander and the receiver; a silicon pin
detector biased to approve the fast response time with it's collecting
optics. The transmitters pulse width was 200ns at a threshold current
of 10 Ampere and maximum operating current of 38 Ampere. The
repetition rate was set at 660Hz and the maximum operating output

The measurement of minority carrier lifetime (MCLT) ofp-n Si fabricated with aid of laser doping technique was reported. The measurement is achieved by using open circuit voltage decay (OCVD) technique. The experiment data confirms that the value of MCLT and proftle of Voc decay were very sensitive to the doping laser energy.

In this paper we use the Markov Switching model to investigate the link between the level of Iraqi inflation and its uncertainty; forth period 1980-2010 we measure inflation uncertainty as the variance of unanticipated  inflation.
