Abstract: In this paper, a U-shaped probe with a curvature diameter of half a centimeter was implemented using plastic optical fibers. A layer of the outer shell of the fibers was removed by polishing to a D-section. The sensor was tested by immersing it in a sodium chloride solution with variable refractive index depending on solution concentrations ranging from 1.333 to 1.363. In this design, the sensor experienced a decrease in its intensity as the concentration of the solution increased. The next step The sensor was coated with a thin layer of gold with a thickness of 20 nm, and the sensor was tested with the same solutions which resulted in a shift in wavelengths where the shift in wavelength was 5.37 nm and sensitivity 179 nm / RIU. To study the effect of the thickness of the film, it was coated with a second layer of gold to make the total thickness 30 nm. The results showed an improvement in the sensitivity with increasing the thickness of the coating, to become 466.66 nm / RIU and the wavelength shift was 14 nm.
This research aims to identify the role and impact of illustrations in contemporary fashion design inspired by historical costumes. Historical fashion aesthetics are adapted to design drawings. The experimental method was followed and a sample of 31 students in the department of fashion and textile design, third level were selected. SUMMARY. – Nanocrystalline thin fi lms of CdS are deposited on glass substrate by chemical bath deposited technique using polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) matrix solution. Crystallite size of the nanocrystalline films are determining from broading of X-ray diffraction lines and are found to vary from 0.33-0.52 nm, an increase of molarity the grain size decreases which turns increases the band gap. The band gap of nanocrystalline material is determined from the UV spectrograph. The absorption edge and absorption coefficient increases when the molarity increases and shifted towards the lower wavelength.

The atmospheric air cold plasma has been used to manufacture gold nanomaterials for treating parasitic leishmaniasis. This study experimentally assessed the treatment of Leishmania parasites (L. donovani and L. tropica) by gold nanoparticles. Specifically, atmospheric pressure nonthermal plasma was generated using different diameters (1.0, 2.8, 3.8 and 4.3 mm) of high voltage electrode. Aqueous gold tetrachloride salts (HAuCl4·4H2O) were used as precursor to produce gold nanoparticles. The single application of the innate TLR7/8 ligand Imiquimod (IMQ) in mice easily induces a dermatitis that closely resembles human psoriasis, critically dependent on the axis of IL-23/IL-17. Artemisia dracunculus prepared as an ointment and has been used topically to mice before imiquimod application. The results of the current study showed that A. dracunculus ointment can significantly reduce psoriasis area and severity index in (A. dracunculus ointment + imiquimod group as compared with both control group and (vehicle ointment + imiquimod) group.
