This work describes the enhancement of phenol red decolorization through immobilizing of laccase in chitosan and enzyme recycling. Commercial laccase from white rot fungus, Trametesversicolor (Tvlac), was immobilizedin to freshly prepared chitosan beads by using glutaraldehyde as a cross linker. Characterization of prepared chitosan was confirmed by FTIR and scanning electron microscope (SEM). Tvlac (46.2 U/mL) immobilized into chitosan beads at 0.8 % glutaraldehyde (v/v) within 24 hrs. Leishmaniasis is a group of parasitic diseases caused by Leishmania spp., an endemic infectious agent in developing countries, including Iraq. The speech recognition system has been widely used by many researchers using different
methods to fulfill a fast and accurate system. Speech signal recognition is a typical
classification problem, which generally includes two main parts: feature extraction and
classification. In this paper, a new approach to achieve speech recognition task is proposed by
using transformation techniques for feature extraction methods; namely, slantlet transform
(SLT), discrete wavelet transforms (DWT) type Daubechies Db1 and Db4. Furthermore, a

The enhancement of heat exchanger performance was investigated using dimpled tubes tested at different Reynolds numbers, in the present work four types of dimpled tubes with a specified configuration manufactured, tested and then compared performance with the smooth tube and other passive techniques performance.
