تمثلت مشكلة البحث في ان لاعبي الناشئين  يعتمدون في أدائهم المهارى اثناء المباريات في اغلب الأحيان استخدام المهارات الأساسية المعروفة وابتعادهم عن لعب المهارات المتطورة مثل الضربة الحاسمة، وكان الغرض من البحث  اعداد تمرينات باستخدام أدوات مقترحة لتعلم الضربة الحاسمة ومعرفة تاثيرها في تعلم مهارة الضربة الحاسمة لعينة البحث. استخدم الباحثان المنهج التجريبي ذو المجموعتين التجريبية والضابطة ذات الاختبار
