Study on Kinetic and Optimization of Continuous Advanced Oxidative Decolorization of Brilliant Reactive Red Dye

The azo dye brilliant reactive red K-2BP (λmax = 534 nm) is widely used for coloring textiles because of its low-cost and tolerance fastness properties. Wastewaters treatment that contains the dye by conventional ways is usually inadequate due to its resistance to biological and chemical degradation. During this study, the continuous reactor of an advanced oxidation method supported the use of H2O2/sunlight, H2O2/UV, H2O2/TiO2/sunlight, and H2O2/TiO2/UV for decolorization of brilliant reactive red dye from the effluent. The existence of an optimum pH, H2O2 concentration, TiO2 concentration, and dye concentration was taken from the batch reactor experiments. The best conditions were pH=3, H2O2 dosage = 500 ppm, TiO2=100ppm and dye concentration=15 ppm .Under the most effective conditions, complete removal of the dye solution was achieved with different flow rates (10, 30, 60) ml/min. At flow rate of 10 ml/min, the percentage of decolorization were (80.47%, 84.65%, 89.42%, 77.5%) and at 60 mL/min (65.19%, 68.26%, 70.01%, 56.8%) for H2O2/sunlight, H2O2/UV, H2O2/TiO2/sunlight and H2O2/TiO2/UV respectively. Results of degradation information showed that the decolorization method was pseudo-first-order kinetics.

Electron lens Optimization for Beam Physics Research using the Integrated Optics Test Accelerator

This study proposed control system that has been presented to control the electron lens resistance in order to obtain a stabilized electron lens power. This study will layout the fundamental challenges, hypothetical plan arrangements and development condition for the Integrable Optics Test Accelerator (IOTA) in progress at Fermilab. Thus, an effective automatic gain  control (AGC) unit has been introduced which prevents fluctuations in the internal resistance of the electronic lens caused by environmental influences to affect the system's current and power values ​​and keep them in stable amounts. Utilizing this unit has obtained level balanced out system un impacted with electronic lens surrounding natural varieties.

Creating Through Points in Linear Function with Parabolic Blends Path by Optimization Method

The linear segment with parabolic blend (LSPB) trajectory deviates from the specified waypoints. It is restricted to that the acceleration must be sufficiently high. In this work, it is proposed to engage modified LSPB trajectory with particle swarm optimization (PSO) so as to create through points on the trajectory. Study the Effect of Scattering and Disperse Radiation on Equivalent Dose Rate for Al & Pb Shields

The effects of scattering and secondary radiation generated inside the material on dose equivalent rate where studied using Co60 and Cs137 sources of activity (199.8 , 177.6) MBq , respectively for different thicknesses of Al , Pb and Pb- glass . The results showed that the equivalent rate increases when the effect of scattering was included for Al and Pb shields with cobalt-60 source of energy 1.25 MeV ; and decreases for Pb shield with Cs-137 source of energy 0.662MeV .The results showed also that the atomic number of The material effects the dose equivalent rate . The Pb-glass shield was found to be more efficient in absorption than other shields.
