Rock type identification is very important task in Reservoir characterization in order to constrict robust reservoir models. There are several approaches have been introduced to define the rock type in reservoirs and each approach should relate the geological and petrophysical properties, such that each rock type is proportional to a unique hydraulic flow unit. A hydraulic flow unit is a reservoir zone that is laterally and vertically has similar flow and bedding characteristics. According to effect of rock type in reservoir performance, many empirical and statistical approaches introduced. In this paper Cluster Analysis technique is used to identify the rock groups in tertiary reservoir for Khabaz oil field by analyses variation of petrophysical properties data that predicted by analysis of well log measurements. In tertiary reservoir four groups identified by cluster analysis technique, were each group was internally similar in petrophysical properties and different from others groups.

Show MoreThis research considers a proposed mechanism relying on frictional interactions between the grasped object and the gripper, thus attaining a case of self-locking condition for a tendon type robotic gripper. A mathematical model was derived for this proposed mechanism, upon which a special purpose apparatus was fabricated and tested. Both results, theoretically and experimentally, are in good agreement, showing that the weight of the grasped object played a major role in attaining the self-locking condition.

In this study, the relationship between the bare soil temperature with respect to its salinity is presented, the bare soil feature is considered only by eliminating all other land features by classifying the site location by using the support vector machine algorithm, in the same time the salinity index that calculated from the spectral response from the satellite bands is calibrated using empirical salinity value calculated from field soil samples. The aim of the study is estimation measles vaccination and revaccination efficacy by evaluate the seroprevalence of antibody and response to reimmunization in young adults. A previously vaccinated 189 young adult medical students were tested for measles specific IgG &IgM pre and post catch-up revaccination by using commercially available ELISA.
