The purpose of this paper is to preparing preventive exercises supported by collagen supplements and vitamin D for handball players, and identify the effect of preventive physical exercises supported by collagen supplements and vitamin D on some physical and skill abilities of handball players. The researchers used the experimental method and designed two groups, one experimental and the other control, with both pre- and post-tests, to suit the nature of the research. The research community was selected from handball players (specialized school players), numbering (14), and they were divided into two groups, each group numbering (7) players. One of the most important results reached by the researcher is that: The exercises prepared by the researchers have a clear positive effect on the physical and skill abilities under study, prepared physical exercises have a clear positive effect on the physical abilities under study ,and preventive physical exercises have a clear effect on the physical and skill abilities under study. One of the most important recommendations recommended by the researchers is that: Adopting preventive physical exercises prepared by training researchers, and adopting preventive physical exercises to reduce injuries that players may be exposed to preventive physical exercises- collagen supplements- vitamin D in improving
Insufficient and poor sleep quality significantly impacts the health and quality of life of persons with end-stage renal failure (ESRF) on hemodialysis. This study explored the effectiveness of teaching patients on hemodialysis, Benson’s relaxation technique. Seventy-one persons on hemodialysis in Iraq were randomly assigned to either the experimental or the control group. The experimental group received training and encouragement to use the Benson relaxation technique. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) score was collected for all the patients before and after the intervention. Essential oils were extracted from Syzqiumoramac clove, Nigella sativa and eucalyptus oil for purpose of studying effect of these oils on adult cockroaches as repellents and extent of their attraction to them by treating biscuits with three concentrations (0.5, 0.25,1%). The results showed that clove oil was significantly more repellent than black seed oil at a concentration (1%), as average for five days was (0.32) compared to black seed oil (1.36). Insects attracted towards lunch averaged 7.58, 14 and this indicates fading of repellent effect due to penetration of the aroma of volatile clove oil. Show MoreThis study were implemented on (60) broiler chick with one day age divided into three equal groups , first one was given basal diet while group two and three given adiet contain 0.01% ,0.02% tryptophan respectively for 7 weeks . The results show that the chicks recevd the tryptophan have asigneficant increasment in hemoglobin concentration, red blood cells count, packed cell volume and increased the level of globuline concentration and lymphocyte % which mean that the addition of tryptophan improve blood picture charactores and the immunity of the broiler chickens and this evident from the good health state and decrease the mortality among birds .
