Correlation study of retinol binding protein(-4), nesfatin and thyroid hormones in colorectal cancer Iraqi Male patients
...Show More Authors

The third most ordinarily cancer type diagnosed in male and is Colorectal cancer (CRC) and it is widely spread in developed countries. Most of CRC arises from development of adenomatous polyps. The current study aimed to determine whether serum retinol binding protein 4 (RBP4) and Nesfatin-1 can be used as a novel biomarker for diagnosis of CRC. Nesfatin-1, RBP4 and Thyroid Hormones (T3, T4 and TSH) levels were measured in fifty sera of male patients suffering from CRC before chemotherapy initiation treatment as G1, G2 after first chemotherapy cycle dose and G3 after second chemotherapy cycle dose compared with twenty five male volunteers as a control G4. The results showed a significant increased in RBP 4 concentration in G3 and a significant elevated in nesfatin-1 in G2 than other groups. The correlation between RBP4 and TSH was a high significant negative (-ve) relation while with nesfatin-1 gave a significant positive (+ve) correlation in G1. The results also found significant positive (+ve) correlation between RBP-4 with, nesfatin-1 in G2 and there was significant negative (-ve) correlation between RBP4 with nesfatin-1 in G3. © 2020 Plant Archives. Applications of Interior Space Design According to Shape Generation Systems: عبد الكريم علي حسين
...Show More Authors

Treatises concerning analyzing the interior spaces multiplied and their directions varied, that some of them analyzed the interior space on the basis of the intellectual and philosophical affiliation or the historical period and others in the light of the concept and mechanisms of the shape. The researcher has not been able to find a research that dealt with analyzing the space within the systems of shape generation, thus it is possible to determine the research problem with the following question: to what extent is it possible to analyze the interior space based on systems of shape generation? As far as the importance of the research is concerned, it sheds light on five of the systems of the shape generation which are: Syntax, shape gra

Bearing Capacity of Shallow Footing on Compacted Filling Dune Sand Over Reinforced Gypseous Soil
...Show More Authors

Existence of these soils, sometimes with high gypsum content, caused difficult problems to the buildings and strategic projects due to dissolution and leaching of gypsum by the action of waterflow through soil mass. In this research, a new technique is adopted to investigate the performance of replacement and geosynthetic reinforcement materials to improve the gypseous soil behavior through experimential set up manufactured loaclally specially for this work. A series of tests were carried out using steel container (600*600*500) mm. A square footing (100*100) mm was placed at the center of the top surface of the bed soil. The results showed that the most effective thickness for the dune sand layer with geotextile at the interface, within

Fire Flame Influence on the Behavior of reinforced Concrete Beams Affected by Repeated Load
...Show More Authors

The influence and hazard of fire flame are one of the most important parameters that affecting the durability and strength of structural members. This research studied the influence of fire flame on the behavior of reinforced concrete beams affected by repeated load. Nine self- compacted reinforced concrete beams were castellated, all have the same geometric layout (0.15x0.15x1.00) m, reinforcement details and compressive strength (50 Mpa).

To estimate the effect of fire flame disaster, four temperatures were adopted (200, 300, 400 and 500) oC and two method of cooling were used (graduated and sudden). In the first cooling method, graduated, the tested beams were leaved to cool in air while in the seco

Transformations of the body from traditional expression to subjectivity : Marina Abramivic as a model.
...Show More Authors

The way artists deal with body in their artistic works has had so many forms and methods, whether as an object for their drawings or as a material to create live artistic performances that relate to the idea of correspondence and interaction between different artistic categories such as: drama, dance, and painting as it is the case of the artist Marina Abramovic who has always used her body as an artistic unit to generate meaning and to perform her lively shows.
To go deeper into her career, our work was divided into 3 sections:
The first section was devoted to follow the main artistic stages that her body had gone through, starting with paintings she performed using concepts based on acting, simulation and nudity and ending wi

Optimization the Effect of Electrode Material Change on EDM Process Performance Using Taguchi Method
...Show More Authors

Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) is a widespread Nontraditional Machining (NTM) processes for manufacturing of a complicated geometry or very hard metals parts that are difficult to machine by traditional machining operations. Electrical discharge machining is a material removal (MR) process characterized by using electrical discharge erosion. This paper discusses the optimal parameters of EDM on high-speed steel (HSS) AISI M2 as a workpiece using copper and brass as an electrode. The input parameters used for experimental work are current (10, 24 and 42 A), pulse on time (100, 150 and 200 µs), and pulse off time (4, 12 and 25 µs) that have effect on the material removal rate (MRR), electrode wear rate (EWR) and wear ratio (WR). Analysis the Surface Morphology of the Porous Media by using Atomic Force Microscope technique
...Show More Authors

An atomic force microscope (AFM) technique is utilized to investigate the polystyrene (PS) impact upon the morphological properties of the outer as well as inner surface of poly vinyl chloride (PVC) porous fibers. Noticeable a new shape of the nodules at the outer and inner surfaces, namely "Crater nodules", has been observed. The fibers surface images have seen to be regular nodular texture at the skin of the inner and outer surfaces at low PS content. At PS content of 6 wt.%, the nodules structure was varied from Crater shape to stripe. While with increasing of PS content, the pore density reduces as a result of increasing the size of the pore at the fiber surface. Moreover, the test of 3D-AFM images shows that the roughness of both su

The Effect of Orally -Administered Calcium Carbonate to Pregnant Women with Mild Pre-eclampsia
...Show More Authors

Pre-eclampsia is the most common medical complication of pregnancy associated with increased maternal and infant mortality and morbidity. Its exact etiology is not known, although several evidences indicate that various elements might play an important role in pre-eclampsia. This study was carried out to analyze and to compare the concentration of calcium, in mild pre-eclampsia and in normal pregnant women , and to determine the effect of oral supplementation with calcium on mild pre-eclampsia  , and whether this effect is related to the change in the level of serum calcium. Forty- five women  in the third trimester of pregnancy were selected to participate in this study and divided  into: fifteen apparently healthy, normo
