Bioremediation of Imidacloprid by the Local Isolate Psychrobacter celer
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>Pesticide biodegradation can be accomplished by the technique of bioremediation, which makes use of microorganisms’ ability to degrade pesticide residues. This study aimed to separate and identify imidacloprid-biodegradable from botanical fields soil of greenhouses in the Plant Protection Directorate /Ministry of Agriculture in Baghdad, which has been using imidacloprid pesticides for many years. Using high-performance liquid chromatography, residual imidacloprid concentrations in MSM medium at a concentration of 25 mg/L after 21 days were measured to identify the best degrading bacterial isolates. Isolate No.37 the best bacterial isolate was able to degrade 63% of imidacloprid. was identified as Psychrobacter celer according to morphological, cultural and biochemical tests. Moreover, genetic analysis for the 16S rRNA gene and given a new accession number (OP672320.1) in the GenBank of NCBI, from this study that the soil previously contaminated for long periods of time with imidacloprid can be treated by degrading the imidacloprid residues in it by isolated bacteria Psychrobacter celer. </p>

Improvement of the Gypseous soil properties by using Copolymer and Styrene-butadiene rubber
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>Gypseous soils are spread in several regions in the world including Iraq, where it covers more than 28.6% [1] of the surface region of the country. This soil, with high gypsum content causes different problems in construction and strategic projects. As a result of water flow through the soil mass, permeability and chemical arrangement of these soils vary over time due to the solubility and leaching of gypsum. In this study the soil of 36% gypsum content, is taken from one location about 100 km (62 mi) southwest of Baghdad, where the sample is taken from depth (0.5 - 1) m below the natural ground surface and mixed with (3%, 6%, 9%) of Copolymer and Styrene-butadiene Rubber to improve t</p> ... Calculation the optical energy band gap of LR115 SSNTD irradiated by α particle
...Show More Authors

The effect of α-particle irradiation on the optical absorption in nuclear track detectors (LR115) has been studied. These detectors have been irradiated with different doses. The optical absorption has been measured using the ultraviolet-visible (UV-1100) spectroscopy, that irradiation results in shifting the peaks of the optical absorption. The values of Urbach energy have been calculated from the position of steady-state optical band gap energy, for a standard sample which was unirradiated with indirect influence, has been found 1.9 eV  whereas its value after irradiation 1.98 eV. In case of the direct influence, it is found to be, respectively, before irradiation 1.98 eV and after irradiation 2.05 eV. From these results, we can

DETECTION OF SUBSURFACE CAVITIES BY THE ELECTROMAGNETIC METHOD (Case Study at Haditha Area)
...Show More Authors

Two EM techniques, terrain conductivity and VLF-Radiohm resistivity (using two
different instruments of Geonics EM 34-3 and EMI6R respectively) have been applied to
evaluate their ability in delineation and measuring the depth of shallow subsurface cavities
near Haditha city.
Thirty one survey traverses were achieved to distinguish the subsurface cavities in the
investigated area. Both EM techniques are found to be successfiul tools in study area.

Some Methods to Estimate the Parameters of Generalized Exponential Rayleigh Model by Simulation
...Show More Authors

This paper shews how to estimate the parameter of generalized exponential Rayleigh (GER) distribution by three estimation methods. The first one is maximum likelihood estimator method the second one is moment employing estimation method (MEM), the third one is rank set sampling estimator method (RSSEM)The simulation technique is used for all these estimation methods to find the parameters for generalized exponential Rayleigh distribution. Finally using the mean squares error criterion to compare between these estimation methods to find which of these methods are best to the others

Spatial Aesthetics in the Novels (Shai Al-Aroos by Maysaloon Hadi) and (Qiyamat Baghdad by Alya Talib) Balance Technical Study
...Show More Authors

This study aims to create spatial balance between two Iraqi writers' novels (Maysaloon
Hadi, Alya Talib) technical and objective illustrates similarity points and difference in the
writers' style. We depended in our research on spatial classification considering the aggressive
and friendly, since the writers focused on them.
The research study concluded to many sides, some of which are similar and some are
different. Firstly, ingenuity description of the writers. Followed by the deep connection they
have. Because of the personal experience it emanated from alienation sensations and nostalgia
to deep roots to homeland.
On the other hand, difference aspects, we see Maysaloon takes symbols and illusions
unlike Aly

The upbringing of Yehuda Amichai and the conditions he lived in had a great influence on his deep sense of pain, which made him think of death and suicide. The Origin of Creation in Khattab (The Beginning of Creation) by Imam Ali (as) and Genesis (Comparative Study)
...Show More Authors

The research aims to answer the questions that revolve in the mind of mankind about how to create creation, how it existed prior to creation, who created existence, and the characteristics of that presence. The researcher also wanted to show that the culture of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) In the book of Adam, peace be upon him, God has punished Adam (peace be upon him) for not having sinned. Because his wife is the one who fed him the fruit of the tree, and this is contrary to what was stated in the sermon of Imam (peace be upon him) who Z Adam (peace be upon him) is the one who trusted Satan and Gwighth.

We note that the approach of the rhetoric has pointed to the creation of angels and did not refer to
