Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a significant cause of infertility due to ovulation dysfunction in women of childbearing age. Although the pathogenesis of PCOS is still not clear, many studies have shown that many factors within the ovary promote infection. With this syndrome, the disruption of the natural monthly ovulation process causes an imbalance in the body's hormones, and the high level of insulin in the body and the blood sugar imbalance leads to the occurrence of hyperandrogenism, which is the main factor for the occurrence of pathogens, in addition to genetic factors, if any. This study aims to identify this disease and its most important causes, symptoms, and modern treatments to prevent and get rid of it. Polycystic ovarian syndrome is diagnosed based on the presence of anovulation associated with biochemical or clinical hyperandrogenism, and the new diagnostic criteria at the Rotterdam Conference 2003 are the basis for the diagnosis now. Obesity, infertility, irregular menstruation, recurrent miscarriage, and hirsutism are essential factors that must be treated to have a healthy pregnancy.
Any harm done to genetic material, whether directly interacting with DNA or indirectly through biological systems, is referred to as genotoxicity. Such harm poses major risks to the health of people, animals, and plants as it is a primary source of carcinogenesis, mutagenesis, and teratogenesis. Because of their medicinal qualities, alkaloids—a family of naturally occurring phytochemicals made by plants from amino acids—are frequently utilized to treat ailments such newborn apnea, gout, and asthma. Recent research has sparked worries about their possible genotoxic consequences despite their therapeutic advantages. Through a variety of processes, including as the creation of DNA adducts, DNA–DNA cross-links, and DNA–protein c

A total of fifty-four (PCOS) patients and thirty-one healthy woman as a control have been studied. The PCOS patients were subdivided on the basis of body-mass-index (BMI), into 2-subgroups (the first group was obese-PCOS with BMI ≥ 30 and the second group was non-obese PCOS MBI<30). Fasting-insulin-levels and Lipid-profile, Homeostatic-model assessment-of-insulin-resistance (HOMA-IR), follicle-stimulating-hormone (FSH), luteinizing-hormone (LH), testosterone and

Violacein is synthesized by fusing two Ltryptophan molecules using five different enzymes encoded by VioA, VioB, VioC, VioD, and VioE genes. These genes have transferred to genetically engineering microorganisms such as E.coli for high production of violacein. It is receiving greater interest because of its significant biological functions and therapeutic potential. The reviews outlining the biosynthesis, production, and biological significance of violacein are being published.
Blastocystosis is symptomatic infection caused by the protozoal parasite Blastocystis , which resides in the intestinal tract of its hosts and it is one of the most common parasites reported in humans. It’s prevalence ranges between (30 - 50%) of the population in developing countries. This genus has a worldwide distribution and often the most commonly reported human intestinal protozoan in children and adults, even infect infants
The rising prevalence of obesity-related glomerulopathy (ORG) occurs in accordance with the rising prevalence of obesity worldwide. Clinically ORG is manifested by slowly progressing microalbuminuria that may develop to clinically evident proteinuria. Pathological characteristics of ORG include glomerular hypertrophy in the presence or absence of focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS). ORG can develop into clinically overt chronic renal insufficiency or even end-stage kidney disease. This article reviews the most important mechanisms for the development of ORG; that are abnormal renal hemodynamics, stimulation of renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system (RAAS), impairment of insulin sensetivity, ectopic lipid deposition, adipose tissue cy

Moreover, the drying process lessens the products' weight, volume, and packaging, which prompts a reduction in the products' transportation costs. The drying technique with solar energy represents an ancient method, still alluring due to solar energy abundance and cost‐effectiveness. In this article, the previous manuscripts concerned with studying and analyzing indirect solar dryer systems that utilize innovative solar air heaters (SAHs) are reviewed. The results and conclusions are discussed intensively to clarify the significance of utilizing this type of drying technique. The ef
An essential issue in obstetrics is the prevalence of maternal and fetal complications in pregnant women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). The purpose of the present study was to investigate the prevalence of pregnancy complications among various phenotypes of pregnant women with PCOS.
Teresa Fitzpatrick presents a connection between oppressed women and the plant of Wisteria in gothic fiction in her article “Wisteria: A Female Eco-Gothic Metaphor in American Fiction Through the Ages.” The connection between women and nature is common in literature as women are usually compared to the beauty or ferocity of flowers, rivers, or natural phenomena in general. The connection extends to the architecture and sort of plants that appear in gothic literature. Gothic novels have routinely been connected to the secrets and life stories of women who cannot have the liberty to live or share them outside their homes.
