The research aims to identify the effect of the PQ5R strategy on the achievement of chemistry among fifth-grade science students in government secondary and preparatory schools. Al-Zumar Girls High School was chosen as its students as the research sample affiliated with the Diyala Education Directorate, Diyala Education Department, for the academic year (2023-2024). and Two divisions were chosen from among divisions. The fifth scientific grade was chosen randomly, one of them was the experimental group taught according to the PQ5R strategy, and the other was the control group taught according to the usual method. The equality of the two research groups was verified with a set of variables, which were (chronological age in months, previous achievement in chemistry, previous information test, Oates-Lennon Intelligence Test) and it was concluded that the two groups were equivalent. As for the research tool, the two researchers prepared an achievement test consisting of (40) items, (31) objective items of the multiple choice type, and (9) essay items, after applying the test to the two groups (control and experimental). It was found that there is a statistically significant difference at the level of (0.05) between the average grades of the female students in the experimental group who studied according to the pQ5R strategy and the average grades of the female students in the group who studied according to the normal method, in favor of the experimental group. In light of this, a set of connections and conclusions were made .

used to prepare the samples. All samples were immersed in water for
9 weeks.
The Results showed decreased in the values of impact strength and
hardness but increased the coefficient of thermal conductivity.

In whole wheat flour, the phytic acid was (1500, 1290, 1450, 1230, 1440 ( mg/ 100 g flour respectively, and the inorganic phosphorous was (29.18, 25.15, 23.89, 20.85, 22.83) mg/100 g flour respectively. The dough prepared from flour with a higher phytic acid content also contained higher amount of phytic acid. During fermentation, degradation of phytic acid occurred.
