g-Closed Soft Sets in Soft Closure Spaces
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>The aim of the present work is to define a new class of closed soft sets in soft closure spaces, namely, generalized closed soft sets (gc-soft sets, for short) which are defined over an initial universe set with a fixed set of parameters. This new class is a generalization to the class of closed soft sets. A necessary condition for a gc-soft set to be a soft closed is also obtainable. Moreover, the union and intersection of two gc-soft sets are discussed. Besides, some properties of gc-soft sets in the product soft closure spaces are also studied. Also, as an application of gc-soft sets a new soft separation axiom, namely <inline-formula> <tex-math><?CDATA ${T}_{\frac{1}{2}}$?></tex-math> <math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" overflow="scroll"> <mrow> <msub> <mi>T</mi> <mrow> <mfrac> <mn>1</mn> <mn>2</mn> </mfrac> </mrow> </msub> </mrow> </math> <inline-graphic xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" xlink:href="JPCS_1879_2_022128_ieqn1.gif" xlink:type="simple"></inline-graphic> </inline-formula>-soft closure space is introduced and its basic properties are investigated.</p>

Hypothyroidism and AMH in Iraqi Patients with Chronic Kidney Disease
...Show More Authors

This study was conducted to investigate thyroid function and Anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) in (Chronic kidney disease) CKD patients by evaluating their levels in CKD patients, 50 patients were diagnosed to have CKD stage-5, their ages ranged between 20-50 years (25 males and 25 females) who attended the Nephrology and Transplant Center in Medical City of Baghdad- Iraq, they were recruited from April 2018 to July 2018 and were enrolled into the study. The control group consisted of 20 healthy individuals, their ages ranged between 20-48 years (10 males and 10 females). The study showed non-significant (p>0.05) increase in AMH level in CKD patients compared to the control group. On the other hand, TSH was recorded a highly significant (

Experimental and Numerical Investigation of Creep Behavior In Isotropic Composites
...Show More Authors

Creep testing is an important part of the characterization of composite materials. It is crucial to determine long-term deflection levels and time-to-failure for these advanced materials. The work is carried out to investigate creep behavior on isotropic composite columns. Isotropy property was obtained by making a new type of composite made from a paste of particles of carbon fibers mixed with epoxy resin and E-glass particles mixed with epoxy resin. This type of manufacturing process can be called the compression mold composite or the squeeze mold composite. Experimental work was carried out with changing the fiber concentration (30, 40 and 50% mass fraction), cross section shape, and type of composite. The creep results showed that th

Recent decades have witnessed tremendous economic development that has led to the spread of international companies (multinational companies) and its activity has expanded to cover many countries of the world, with intense competition among countries to attract more international investments, which has led to the emergence of some controversial accounting issues in many Relevant areas, including accounting for transactions in foreign currencies, translation of financial statements for companies and foreign branches, as this issue is an important and sensitive topic because many of its aspects are controversial and not yet resolved, especially with regard to the variation in standards and Relevant accounting practices from one country to

Analytical Comparison of Leading Sustainability Systems in the Iraqi Environment
...Show More Authors

Over the last two decades, several sustainability assessment methods have developed as key accelerators for the development and improvement of sustainable industrial buildings. Some of these systems, like as LEED or BREEAM, are considered international, whereas others, such as Pearl Rating Systems (PRS), are local. Although they all share similar goals, they can lead to the construction of green buildings or the improvement of the efficiency of existing conventional buildings. Each technique has its structure, certification process, and weighting norms. The inequalities have prompted various questions about whether global assessment systems appropriately consider the country’s national settings. This study aims to compare the Pear

Torque and Drag Forces Problems in Highly Deviated Oil Well
...Show More Authors

Excessive torque and drag can be critical limitation during drilling highly deviated oil wells. Using the modeling is regarded as an invaluable process to assist in well planning and to predict and prevent drilling problems. Identify which problems lead to excessive torque and drag to prevent cost losses and equipment damage. Proper modeling data is highly important for knowing and prediction hole problems may occur due to torque and drag and select the best method to avoid these problems related to well bore and drill string. In this study, Torque and drag well plan program from landmark worldwide programming group (Halliburton Company) used to identify hole problems.one deviated well in Zubair oil fields named, ZB-250 selected for

The Impact of Culture in Translating English Idioms into Arabic
...Show More Authors

This study sought to understand how critical cultural awareness was in translating English idioms into Arabic, particularly in political news where clarity and precision are paramount. The challenges that arise from the linguistic and cultural disparities between the two languages include differences in metaphor, image, and cultural reference. The study demonstrates, through the lens of Skopos Theory, how efficient translation relies on the function and intent of the text taking precedence over word-for-word equivalence and cultural context. Overall, the study establishes the need to transform idioms so that they better align with what is appropriate given the expectations of the audience. The results highlight the importance of inn

EXTRACELLULAR SUPEROXIDE DISMUTASE CHANGES IN PATIENTS WITH DIFFERENT BRAIN TUMORS

The Specific activity of extracellular superoxide dismutase (EC-SOD) was measured in healthy persons and in patients with benign and malignant brain tumors. The results show decrease of the EC-SOD specific activity in sera of patients with benign and malignant brain tumors in comparison to that of control group. This study concentrated on studying the changes that occur in sera EC-SOD activity of patients with benign and malignant brain tumors, in comparison to that of normal individuals. The result also revealed that this isoenzyme is present in many different molecular weights forms (as judged by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis), some of these with no enzymatic activity. Conversion among these forms occurs in the malignant sera
