New 2-amino thiazole ,oxodiazole, sulphonilamide and diazin derivatives of N-(α-chloro aceto)-3-(tolyl imino)-5-bromo-2-oxo-indole(2) have been synthesized .The preparation process started by the reaction of 5-bromo isatin with P-toluidine in the presence of glacial acetic acid and dimethylformamide(DMF) as a solvent to give 3-(tolyl imino)5-bromo-1H-indole-2-one.(1), Compound (1) with sodium hydride in dimethylformamide(DMF) at 0C0 gave a suspension of the sodium salt of Schiff base derivative and subsequent reaction with monochloroacetylchloride obtained the intermediate compound(2).Compound(2) was reacted with different reagents in four routes. The first route involved direct reaction with substituted 2-aminobenzothiazole u
... Show MoreA first step in this research was to synthesize Schiff's bases(1-3)using an Amoxcilline intensification reaction with different aromatic aldehydes in absolute ethanol. In benzene and refluxing conditions,Schiff's bases were cyclized with succinic and Phthalic anhydride to give a new sequence of 1,3-oxazepine derivatives(4-6) and (7-9),respectively.The last step, cyclization reactions with sodium azide in THF solvent resulted in the formation of [10 and 11], which are supposed to be biologically significant.FT.IR, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR (for compound 4,7,9, and 11),as well as melting points reported, were used to characterize these prepared compounds ,Bacillus (G+), Staphylococcus (G+), and E.Coli (G-)were screened against these compounds. . ... Show MoreThe azo dye (LH) was used to synthesize a series of complexes with Fe(III), Co(II), Ru(III), and Rh(III) metal ions. The ligand (LH) was synthesized by the condensation reaction between tryptamine and 2-hydroxyquinoline. Due to the presence of effective donor atoms (-N=N- azo and OH hydroxyl groups), the ligand was subsequently refluxed with various metal ions, leading to the formation of nonelectrolytic [M:L] (1:2). These compounds were characterized using 1H and 13C-NMR, FT-IR, UV–Vis, mass spectrometry, TGA, DSC, and C.H.N. analysis, along with conductivity, magnetic susceptibility, and metal and chlorine content measurements. The results indicated that the ligand acts as a bidentate, with the complexes adopting an octahedral geometry.
... Show MoreThis research includes the synthesis of some new different heterocyclic derivatives of 5-Bromoisatin. New sulfonylamide, diazine, oxazole, thiazole and 1,2,3-triazole derivatives of 5-Bromoisatin have been synthesized. The synthesis process started by the reaction of 5-Bromoisatin with different reagents to obtain schiff bases of 5-Bromoisatin intermediate compounds(1, 8, 19) by using glacial acetic acid as a catalyst in three routes. The first route, 5-Bromoisatin reacted with p-aminosulfonylchloride to product compound(1), then converted to sulfonyl amide derivatives(2-7) by the reaction of compound(1) with different substituted primary aromatic amine in absolute ethanol. The second route includes the reaction of 5-Bromoisatin rea
... Show MoreA new Schiff bases ligand 4- ((2-hyolroxy phenylimino) methyl) -2, 6-dimethoxyphenol derived from condensation of 2- amino phenol with 4-hydroxy -3, 5-dimethoxy benzaldehyde have been synthesized and characterized by spectroscopy, spectra, Mass spectrum and elemental microanalysis (C.H.N). Metal Complexes with ions have been also synthesized and characterized spectroscopic methods spectroscopy, flame atomic absorption, molar conductivity measurements and magnetic susceptibility. These studies indicate that the moler ratio for the complexes. The complexes showed characteristics octahedral geometry with the (O,N) ligand coordinated in bidentate mode while with showed square planer. The enzyme activity of the ligand and i

A new ligand [N-(4-nitrobenzoylamino)-thioxomethyl] phenylalanine is synthesized by reaction of 4-nitrobenzoyl isothiocyanate with phenylalanine (1:1). It is characterized by micro elemental analysis (C.H.N.S.), FT-IR, (UV-Vis) and 1H and 13CNMR spectra. Some metals ions complexes of this ligand were prepared and characterized by FT-IR, UV-Visible spectra, conductivity measurements, magnetic susceptibility and atomic absorption. From results obtained, the following formula [M(NBA)2] where M2+ = Mn, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Pd, Cd and Hg, the proposed molecular structure for these complexes as tetrahedral geometry, except copper and palladium complexes are have square planer geometry.
