The effect of physical exertion exercises using electrical muscle stimulation on the development of some physical and functional characteristics of women aged (40-45) years
...Show More Authors

The researchers have recently noticed the interest in the problem of overweight and how to find solutions to it until it is now at the forefront in terms of innovating various and different methods and treatment methods, and the interest in developing health fitness is one of the most important requirements of physical activity for the trainees, which led to the multiplicity of sports activities that promote the health aspect For the individual, in addition to the aesthetic aspect, the problem lies in not adopting training programs according to codified scientific foundations aiming, in addition to reducing weight, to raise the general health level of the trainee participating in fitness institutes, as the trainers do not follow the scientific method in codifying training curricula taking into account the individual differences between the trainees Which exposes them to sports injury problems, as the researchers decided to prepare a standardized training program by preparing physical exercises using EMS technology (electrical muscle stimulation) because it saves the time and effort required to lose weight and improve appearance in a fast and effective way, and to know its effect on some physical and functional characteristics of women aged (30) -45). And the aim of the research is to prepare and identify physical exertion exercises using electrical muscle stimulation in developing some physical and functional characteristics of women aged (40-45) years old, and the researchers used the experimental method of pre and post testing for the experimental and control groups, and the research community was identified as trainees in the student club hall Sports Activity / University of Baghdad, for the training season 2019-2020, whose number is (18) trainees, as the research sample was selected using the comprehensive inventory method and the sample was divided into two experimental groups and the control group with (9) trainees for each group. Physical effort was applied using electrical muscle stimulation on the experimental group for a period of time. Eight weeks, with three training units per week, and they used the SPSS statistical bag to process the data and obtain the results, from which the researchers came to the most important conclusions. Exercise physical exertion using electrical muscle stimulation has a positive effect on the development of some physical and functional characteristics of women aged (40-45) years

Plasma Jet Prepared Gold and Silver Nanoparticles to Induce Caspase-Independent Apoptosis in Digestive System Cancers
...Show More Authors

Alot of medical and industrial applications used the metal nanoparticles (NPs) with increase interest to be used as cancer therapy. The current work aimed to prepare AuNPs and AgNPs through the use of plasma jet and test their antitumor mechanism of apoptosis induction. The results indicating the face-centered cubic structures and crystalline nature of AuNPs and AgNPs. Also, the image of FESEM showed that the well dispersions regarding AuNPs and AgNPs, while the NP’s spherical shape with the particle size distributions which are considered to be close that estimated from the XRD. cytotoxicity have been assessed against the Normal embryonic cell line REF and the digestive system (HC , SK-GT-4) cell lines under a variety of the seri

فارسی Practical application of Jean René Ladmiral's model in translation from Arabic to Persian: کاربست عملی الگوی ژان رنه لادمیرال در ترجمه از عربی به فارسی
...Show More Authors

Translation is a dynamic and living process that cannot be considered equal to the original text and requires the appropriate structure, language, thought and culture of the target language, and the translator's intellectual, linguistic and cultural influences inadvertently penetrate into the translated text. It causes heterogeneity of the destination text with the source text.

Admiral's theory is trying to help by providing components and suggested approaches to resolve these inconsistencies. In the meantime, in addition to the mission of putting words together, the translator must sometimes sit in the position of the reader and judge and evaluate the translated text in order to understand its shortcomings and try to correct it a

Passive Design Strategies to Enhance Natural Ventilation in Buildings "Election of Passive Design Strategies to Achieve Natural Ventilation in Iraqi Urban Environment with Hot Arid Climate"
...Show More Authors

The natural ventilation in buildings is one of effective strategies for achieving energy efficiency in buildings by employing methods and ways of passive design, as well as its efficiency in providing high ranges of thermal comfort for occupants in buildings and raises their productivity. Because the concept of natural ventilation for many people confined to achieve through the windows and openings only, become necessary to provide this research to demonstrate the various passive design strategies for natural ventilation. Then, research problem: Insufficient knowledge about the importance and mechanism of the application of passive design strategies for natural ventilation in buildings. The research objective is: Analysis of passive desi

Enhancing Adherence and Satisfaction with Disease-Modifying Therapies in Multiple Sclerosis Through Pharmacist-Led Interventions: Interventional Study
...Show More Authors

Background: Pharmacists are essential in treating MS. Pharmacists' involvement and patient consultation may improve patient adherence and satisfaction. Aim: To evaluate the influence of pharmacist-led interventions (PLI) on medication adherence and satisfaction in patients with multiple sclerosis receiving disease-modifying therapies (DMTs). Methods: This study was conducted on patients with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis who were receiving DMTs and attended a neurological consultant clinic in the medical city of Baghdad. It was a pre-post-intervention study. Each patient underwent two educational sessions: the first session took place at the beginning of the study, after completing the Arabic version of the treatment satisfaction q

Relationship between cathepsin K and total oxidative state in diabetes mellitus female patients with osteoporosis in Iraq
...Show More Authors

Introduction and Aim: Diabetes mellitus patients almost always struggle with a metabolic condition known as chronic hyperglycemia. According to the World Health Organization, osteoporosis is a progressive systemic skeletal disorder that is characterized by decreasing bone mass and microstructural breakdown of bone tissue that increases susceptibility to fracture and increased risk of breaking a bone. Here, we aimed to compare the levels of CatK and total oxidative state in patients with diabetes and osteoporosis among the female Iraqi population and study the possible relationship between them. Materials and Methods: This study included 40 females with diabetes (Group G1), 40 with diabetes and osteoporosis (Group G2) and 40 norma

Association between CNR1 gene polymorphisms and susceptibility to diabetic nephropathy in Iraqi patients with T2DM
...Show More Authors

In individuals with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), the cannabinoid receptor 1 (CNR1) gene polymorphism has been linked to diabetic nephropathy (DN). Different renal disorders, including DN, have been found to alter cannabinoid (CB) receptor expression and activation. This cross-sectional study aimed to investigate the relationship between CNR1 rs1776966256 and rs1243008337 genetic variants and the risk of developing DN in Iraqi patients with T2DM. The study included 100 patients with T2DM, divided into two groups: 50 with DN and 50 without DN. Genotyping of CNR1 rs1776966256 and rs1243008337 polymorphisms was conducted using PCR in DN patients and control samples. The distribution of rs1776966256 and rs1243008337 genotypes and alleles bet

From data to decision: How wearable plant sensors help improving proactive irrigation strategies and water use efficiency
...Show More Authors

Wearable sensors are a revolutionary tool in agriculture because they collect accurate data on plant environmental conditions that affect plant growth in real-time. Moreover, this technology is crucial in increasing agricultural sustainability and productivity by improving irrigation strategies and water resource management. This review examines the role of wearable sensors in measuring plant water content, leaf and air humidity, stem flow, plant and air temperature, light, and soil moisture sensors. Wearable sensors are designed to monitor various plant physiological parameters in real-time. These data, obtained through wearable sensors, provide information on plant water use and physiology, making our agricultural choices more informed an
