Recently, Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) was considered as one of the autoimmune diseases that the genetic and environmental factors contributed in the disease etiological profile. Sevelamer and calcium-containing phosphate binders have been associated with cost burden and tissue calcification, respectively.
