Eight new complexes with the general formula [M(L)2(H2O)2] were prepared resulting from the reaction of the new Schiff base ligand [(E)-5- ((2-hydroxybenzylidene)amino)-2-phenyl-2,4-dihydro-3H-pyrazol-3- one(L)] with metal ions [manganese, cadmium, zinc, copper, nickel, cobalt, Mercury Bivalent and tetravalent platinum. This ligand was derived from the reaction of the amine (5-amino-2-phenyl-2,4-dihydro3H-pyrazol-3-one) with Salicylaldehyde, which is linked to the metal ions via two atoms. The nitrogen is the isomethene group, and the oxygen is the hydroxide group of the pyrazoline ring. The prepared compounds were characterized using infrared spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, and ultraviolet spectroscopy, and from the results of the measurements, the octahedral geometric of the prepared complexes were proposed. The inhibitory ability of the prepared compounds was tested against two types of selected bacteria: Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Candida fungi, which showed that the ability of the metal complexes to inhibit is higher than the ligand

Green synthesis with broccoli offers an environmentally friendly way to produce stable and biocompatible nanomaterials. In this study, Brassica oleracea aqueous extract served as both the reducing and capping agent, producing AuNPs with a characteristic surface plasmon resonance peak at 560 nm and a well-defined cubic crystalline structure confirmed by XRD. This paper considers approximate solution of the hyperbolic one-dimensional wave equation with nonlocal mixed boundary conditions by improved methods based on the assumption that the solution is a double power series based on orthogonal polynomials, such as Bernstein, Legendre, and Chebyshev. The solution is ultimately compared with the original method that is based on standard polynomials by calculating the absolute error to verify the validity and accuracy of the performance.
The crystalline zeolite, namely faujasite type Y with SiO2/Al2O3 mole ratio of 5 was used as raw material for preparation of isomerization catalysts. A 0.5 wt % Pt/HY-zeolite catalyst was prepared by impregnation of the decationized HY-zeolite with chloroplatinic acid. The dectionized HY-zeolite was treated with HCl, HNO3 and HI promoters using different normalities and with different concentrations of Sn, Ni and Ti promoters by impregnation method to obtain acidic and metallic promoters' catalysts, respectively.
