Beta-lactamase was purified from local isolate Klebsiella pneumonia by several steps included precipitation with ammonium sulphate at 20-40% saturation, DEAE- ion exchange chromatography and gel filtration on Sephacryl S-200 column. The obtained purification fold and recovery were 32.66; 47.04% respectively. The characterization of the purified beta-lactamase showed that the molecular weight was about 4000 daltons as determined by gel filtration.Purified enzyme had an optimal pH of 7 for activity and an optimal stability between pH 6.5-7.5, results shows that the optimal temperature appear to be 35 ? C .During storage the enzyme retained 72% at -20 ? C and retained 25% of the activity at the same period at 4 ? C.

AbstractIn this study, high quality ZnO/Ag-NPs thin transparent and conductive film coatings were fabricated <italic>via</italic> sol-gel process combined with spin-coating technique. Structural, surface morphology, electrical and optical properties were investigated by means of XRD, Hall effect measurements, FESEM and UV-Vis. The synthesized ZnO/Ag-NPs thin films shows a polycrystalline wurtzite structure, and the grain sizes enlarged when the annealing temperature increased. The current study investigated the impact of nonionic surfactant span 80 in the existence of Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles on the emulsification of mixture of kerosene as petroleum based organic solvents and corn oil as a green diluent in the ratio 1:1

Accurate prediction and optimization of morphological traits in Roselle are essential for enhancing crop productivity and adaptability to diverse environments. In the present study, a machine learning framework was developed using Random Forest and Multi-layer Perceptron algorithms to model and predict key morphological traits, branch number, growth period, boll number, and seed number per plant, based on genotype and planting date. The choice of materials for building envelopes significantly influences the overall energy demand of HVAC systems, which contribute significantly to electricity usage.
