In this research work, the novel polymer base on acrylamide N-methylene lactic and glycolic acid was synthesized and its structural performances were identified by the IR, 1H NMR and 13C NMR spectroscopic investigations. The influencing factors and kinetics of polymerization, viscosity performance were studied and quantum chemical calculations were used to identify the correlation between the structure and properties. It was determined that the polymerization rate of the examined monomers in an aqueous solution, in the presence of DAA, adheres to the standard rules for radical polymerization of acrylamide monomers in solution. An investigation into the pH solution's impact on the kinetics of radical polymerization of acrylamido-N-methylene glycolic and acrylamido-N-methylene lactic acids revealed an extreme dependence with a minimum in a neutral medium. It was found the linear correlation between pH and viscosity. The physical and chemical performance of this polymer depends on the structural parameters related the results of quantum chemical calculation. Biological tests conducted on polyacrylamido-N-methylene lactic acid indicated its potential as a plant growth stimulator. The polymeric form of lactic acid was found to enhance the growth of Dustlik variety wheat seedlings by 40% more efficiently than lactic acid alone.
Esterification reaction is most important reaction in biodiesel production. In this study, oleic acid was used as a suggested feedstock to study and simulate production of biodiesel. Batch esterification of oleic acid was carried out at operating conditions; temperature from 40 to 70 °C, ethanol to oleic acid molar ratio from 1/1 to 6/1, H2SO4 as the catalyst 1 and 5% wt of oleic acid, reaction time up to 180 min. The optimum conditions for the esterification reaction were molar ratio of ethanol/oleic acid 6/1, 5%wt H2SO4 relative to oleic acid, 70 °C, 90 min and conversion of oleic 0.92. The activation energy for the suggested model was 26625 J/mole for forward reaction and 42189 J/mole for equilibrium constant. The obtained results s

Three plants extracts of Eucalyptus, Pomegranate and Oolong tea leaves have been used to synthesize iron oxide nanoparticles. The structure and particle size of the nanoparticles have been investigated by XRD spectrum. The results exhibit the polycrystalline nature of the material with a size around (17-19 nm). FESEM analysis showed that using different extracts as a reduction and capping agent might affect the shape of nanoparticles such as forming of round, polygon and irregular shapes under the same conditions. The photo catalyst activity of the prepared NPs in the degradation of MB dye has been investigated. the results showed a good efficiency reached to 91%, 88% and 80%.
Copper (I) complex containing folic acid ligand was prepared and characterized on the basis of metal analyses, UV-VIS, FTIR spectroscopies and magnetic susceptibility. The density functional theory (DFT) as molecular modeling calculations was used to determine the donor atoms of folic acid ligand which appear clearly at oxygen atoms binding to hydrogen. Detection of donation sights is supported by theoretical parameters such as geometry, mulliken population, mulliken charge and HOMO-LUMO gap obtained by DFT calculations.
In this research, annealed nanostructured ZnO catalyst water putrefaction system was built using sun light and different wavelength lasers as stimulating light sources to enhance photocatalytic degradation activity of methylene blue (MB) dye as a model based on interfacial charges transfer. The structural, crystallite size, morphological, particle size, optical properties and degradation ability of annealed nanostructured ZnO were characterized by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) and UV-VIS Spectrometer, respectively. XRD results demonstrated a pure crystalline hexagonal wurtzite with crystalline size equal to 23 nm. From AFM results, the average particle size was 79.25nm. All MB samples and MB with annealed nanostr

Iodine-doped polythiophene thin films are prepared by aerosol assisted plasma jet polymerization at atmospheric pressure and room temperature. The doping of iodine was carried out in situ by employing iodine crystals in thiophene monomer by weight mixing ratios of 1%, 3%, 5% and 7%. The chemical composition analyses of pure and iodine-doped and heat-treated polythiophene thin films are carried out by FTIR spectroscopy studies. The optical band gaps of the films are evaluated from absorption spectrum studies. Direct transition energy gaps are determined from Tauc plots. The structural changes of polythiophene upon doping and the reduction of optical band gap are explained on the basis of the results obtained from FTIR spectroscopy, UV–V
