In this paper, author’s study sub diffusion bio heat transfer model and developed explicit finite difference scheme for time fractional sub diffusion bio heat transfer equation by using caputo fabrizio fractional derivative. Also discussed conditional stability and convergence of developed scheme. Furthermore numerical solution of time fractional sub diffusion bio heat transfer equation is obtained and it is represented graphically by Python.
Antibiotics resistant bacteria have become a global problem as a result of the unprogrammed use of antibiotics, resulting in bacterial strains resistant to many antibiotics, or to all available antibiotics. Plants are a good source of primary and secondary metabolites that have a major role in reducing silver nitrate to silver nanoparticles (AgNPs). The production of these nanoparticles were carried out by using aqueous extract of Carthamus oxycantha M.Bieb. This can be verified by color change of the reaction solution from yellow to dark brown because of the excitation of the surface plasmon resonance. AgNPs were characterized by UV-Vis spectroscopy, where they recorded the peak at 420 nm. Fourier Transformation-infrared (FTIR)

Show MoreSynthesis three organic inhibitors for carbon steel corrosion: 2-(propylthio)-1H-benzo[d]imidazole (PTBI), 2-(allylthio)- 1H-benzo[d]imidazole (ATBI) and 2-(prop-2-ynylthio)-1H-benzo[d]imidazole (YTBI) were prepared from reaction of 2-mercapto benzimidazole with different alkyl halide. The melting point and TLC were used to confirm the purity of the inhibitors as well as using the [FTIR, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR] for the identify structures. The synthesized inhibitors were examined by potentiostatic polarization measurement as corrosion inhibitors of carbon steel in acidic media [1M H2SO4 ].The polarization measurement results showed that the mixed type inhibitors. In addition, the efficiency of inhibitors (YTBI) were studied at different con

The corrosion current density increased with increasing temperature. Values of Tal'el slopes and the transfer coefficients indicated hydrogen evolution reaction to occur at the cathode and mainly the dissolution at the anode.Benzotriazole (BTA) had an inhibiting effect ??? the corrosion of the Al-bronze in deaerated NaCl solution at a concentration (1*10'?- IxlO‘1) mol dm'^ over the temperature range 293-313K. Values of the protection efficiency and kinetics parameters were obtained from the corrosion current

This studies deals with investigated the potential of a Iraqi bentonite clay for the adsorption of bromo phenol red dye from contaminated water. Impulse adsorption experiments were performed. The contact time influence of initial dye concentration, temperature, pH, ionic strength, partical size adsorbent and adsorbent dosage on bromo phenol red adsorption are investigated in a series of batch adsorption experiments. Adsorption equilibrium data were analyzed and described by the Freundlich, Langmuir and temkin isotherms equations. Thermodynamic parameters inclusive the Gibbs free energy (∆G• ), enthalpy (∆H• ), and entropy (∆S• ), were also calculated. These parameters specified that adsorption of bromo phenol red onto bentonite

A constant DC voltage gradient of 1 V/cm was applied for all these tests with duration of 7 days remediation process for each test. Different purging solutions and addition configurations, i.e. injection wells, were investigated experimentally to enhance the removal of lead from Iraqi soil during electro-kinetic remediation process. The experimental results showed that the overall removal efficiency of lead for tests conducted with distilled water, 0.1 M acetic acid, 0.2 M EDTA and 1 M ammonium citrate as the purging solutions were equal to 18 %, 37 %, 42 %, and 29 %, respectively. Show MoreThis study aims to show the effectiveness of immobilization of Chlorella green algae biomass in the form of bead for the removal of lead ions from synthetic polluted water at various operational parameters such as pH (2–6), biosorbent dosage (0.5–20 g/L) and initial concentration (10–100 mg/L). More than 90 % removal efficiency was achieved. FTIR and SEM-EDX analysis of the biosorbent before and after sorption show differences in the functional groups on the adsorbent surface. Langmuir and Freundlich equilibrium isotherm, pseudo-first-order and pseudo-second-order kinetic models were applied to the experimental and results and show good conformity with Langmuir isotherm model and pseudo-second-order kinetic model with c

Show MoreA new application of a combined solvent extraction and two-phase biodegradation processes using two-liquid phase partitioning bioreactor (TLPPB) technique was proposed and developed to enhance the cleanup of high concentration of crude oil from aqueous phase using acclimated mixed culture in an anaerobic environment. Silicone oil was used as the organic extractive phase for being a water-immiscible, biocompatible and non-biodegradable. Acclimation, cell growth of mixed cultures, and biodegradation of crude oil in aqueous samples were experimentally studied at 30±2ºC. Anaerobic biodegradation of crude oil was examined at four different initial concentrations of crude oil including 500, 1000, 2000, and 5000 mg/L. Complete removal of crud

The dried leaves of Nile rose plant were used as adsorbents safranin-O from aqueous solution after different activations such as wet and dry enhancements. The data show increasing in dye solution removal percentage for both activation methods of the adsorbent and also dye removal percentage that was obtained by using adsorbent without any treatment with the progress contact time. The dye removal percentages at equilibrium time 40 minutes were 88.7% at non-activation, 92.3% at thermal activation, and 98.3% at acidic activation. In this study, solvent extraction of Co(II) from aqueous solution using a mixture of N,N0-carbonyl difatty amides (CDFAs) synthesised from palm oil as the extractant was carried out. The effects of various parameters such as acid, contact time, extractant concentration, metal ion concentration and stripping agent and the separation of Co(II) from other metal ions such as Fe(II), Ni(II), Zn(III) and Cd(II) were investigated. It was found that the extraction of Co(II) into the organic phase involved the formation of 1:1 complexes. Co(II) was successfully separated from commonly associated metal
