The Atmospheric Infrared Sounder (AIRS) on EOS/Aqua satellite provides diverse measurements of Methane (CH₄) distribution at different pressure levels in the Earth's atmosphere. The focus of this research is to analyze the vertical variations of (CH₄) volume mixing ratio (VMR) time-series data at four Standard pressure levels SPL (925, 850, 600, and 300 hPa) in the troposphere above six cities in Iraq from January 2003 to September 2016. This study illustrates in vitro effect of cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) on the treatment of Leishmania. In addition, the study evaluated the effect of drug treatment (pentostam) and the combination treatment of pentostan and CAP at different doses and incubation time 24 h in order to assess the most effective treatment. The duration of the cold plasma doses was 1 min, 2 min and 3 min, while the pentostam doses were 2.5 µg/ml and 5 µg/ml. This investigation was carried out to study the treatment and recycling of wastewater in the cotton textile industry for an effluent containing three dyes: direct blue, sulphur black and vat yellow. The reuse of such effluent can only be made possible by appropriate treatment method such as chemical coagulation. Ferrous and ferric sulphate with and without calcium hydroxide were employed in this study as the chemical coagulants.
The results showed that the percentage removal of direct blue ranged between 91.4 and 94 , for sulphur black ranged between 98.7 and 99.5 while for vat yellow it was between 97 and 99.

The technique of plant tissue culture has been used to In vitro micropropagation of Spilanthes acmella (L.) Murr. It is an ornamental and medicinal plant not cultivated in Iraq. Seeds were sterilized and cultuared on full strength Murashige and Skoog medium(1962)(MS). Naphthalene acetic acid (NAA), 6- furfuryl aminopurine (Kin.) growth regulators were used at the Initiation stage.The combination between IAA and Kin. was used in multiplication stage. IAA was used for rooting the shoots. Results showed that 1.5% sodium hypochlorite for 15 min was very effective for disinfecting and survival.
