Image compression is an important tool to reduce the bandwidth and storage
requirements of practical image systems. To reduce the increasing demand of storage
space and transmission time compression techniques are the need of the day. Discrete
time wavelet transforms based image codec using Set Partitioning In Hierarchical
Trees (SPIHT) is implemented in this paper. Mean Square Error (MSE), Peak Signal
to Noise Ratio (PSNR) and Maximum Difference (MD) are used to measure the

The present study was conducted to estimate the incidence, clinical findings, cytological and histopathological characteristics of spontaneously occurring skin neoplasms in dogs. A total of 40 grossly suspected cases of cutaneous and subcutaneous tumors were gathered during the period from July 2016 to August 2018 from male and female dogs in Baghdad city. Dogs with skin neoplasia revealed various clinical signs, and their ages were older than 5 years to 15 years. German shepherd 30% followed by Terrier dogs 25% were more influenced than other breeds. A total of sixty raw milk samples were collected from (street vendors and shops) from Baghdad city, Iraq. The samples were inoculated into peptone water and, then, subcultured onto MacConkey agar and Blood agar. Identification of isolates was confirmed by microscopic examination, cultural characteristic, biochemical tests, Vitek (VITEK®2 system), and Biolog GN substrate reactions followed by 16S rRNA and specific genes sequencing.
