Kumaraswamy (1976, 1978) showed well known probability distribution functions such as the normal, beta and log-normal but in (1980) Kumaraswamy developed a more general probability density function for double bounded random processes, which is known as Kumaraswamy’s distribution. Classical maximum likelihood and Bayes methods estimator are used to estimate the unknown shape parameter (b). Thin films of pure polycarbonate (PC) with anthracene doping PC films for different doping ratios (10, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 ml) were prepared by using a casting method. The influence of anthracene doping ratio on photo-fries rearrangement of polycarbonate was systematic investigated. Furthermore, pure PC and anthracene doping PC films were irradiated via UV light at a wavelength (254 nm) for different periods (5, 240, 288, and 360 hrs). Some types of the fungus Aspergillus were isolated from some hospitals in the city of Baghdad (Imam Ali Hospital and Sadr General Hospital). The samples were taken by Transport media at a rate of three replicates of each place isolated from samples from different places within the hospital (waste, baths, the sick beds, corridors and room floors) for the purpose of isolating and diagnosing the fungus on the Czapeck Dox Agar media. An experimental study was conducted to evaluate the effect of AL-coholic extract alkaloid of Cordia myxa leafs in fourth larval stage of lesser grain borer Rhyzopertha dominica. Using alkaline extracts of 8%, the study has been shown clear effect increased in mortality rate for fourth larval stage 93.3% and degressed to 66.6% at 4% concentrate to 13.3% with control treatment .Ahigher percentage of pupal mortality 16.6% at 4% concentrate has been observed, while no natural emergence carried out at concentrates of 4.6% comparing with control treatment of 86.66%, at the same time percentage of deformation has been increased to 16.66% at 4% of extracts and degressed to 6.66% at 6% while no deformation have been shown with control treatment .

Abstract

 This work involves studying the effect of adding some selective organic component mixture on corrosion behavior of pure Al and its alloys in condensed synthetic automotive solution (CSAS) at room temperature. This mixture indicates the increasing of octane number in previous study and in this study show the increasing in corrosion resistance through the decreasing in corrosion rate values.

Electrochemical measurements were carried out by potentiostat at 3 mV/sec to estimate the corrosion parameters using  Tafel extrapolation method, in addition to cyclic polarization test to know the pitting susceptibility of materials in tested medium.
